  • Hi Folks,

Well got off to a good start this month.

    1) Have a NSD today so 1/10 for Feb.
    2) Managed to pay £66.27 off my visa card today.
    3) Managed to make £42.35 today on the matched betting.
    4) Grocery challenge for Feb I have spent £78.81 so far. However that is already two weeks food as I start after I get paid.

I think that is just about it for now, I still have not had chance to get any books on amazon or do any reviews, but I am still ticking over ok.

  • Hi Folks,

    Hope everybody is doing well.

I have not managed to post much in the last few weeks so I will try and update everybody for the month of Feb so far.

    1) The total 1p,2p,5p and 10p is now up to £21.67
    2) The total 20p is now up to £17.20
    3) The total £2 is now up to £6
    4) The number of NSD for Feb is 4/10.
    5) For the month of Feb so far I have managed to pay off £346.16 on the PAD challenge.
6)However, for the grocery spends I am not doing very well this month, I have already spent £119.12 and my budget was £105. I think I was being a little optimistic this month as my parents came up at the beginining of the month and I had to buy a bit of stuff.
    7) For the make £10 a day challenge I have so far made £167.26, my target is £280, so doing well so far. Most if this money has been via matched betting and cashback and some free bingo
8)I have updated my signature for my matched betting totals and indeed other totals.

I also have manage to bring my DFD forward two months two april 2015.

  • Hi folks,

    Hope everybody is doing well.

Just because I have not been on does not mean I have not been saving.

    1) Managed to increase my 1p,2p,5p and 10p to £23.68
    2) Managed to increase my 20p to £19.80
    3) Managed to increase my £2 to £8.
    4) Managed 8/10 NSD this month, so far.
    5) For the month of feb so far I have managed to pay £515.07 off my debts in the PAD challenge.
    6) For the month of feb so far I have managed to make £244.03 in the make £10 a day challenge. Only another £35.87 to go for the month
    7) Grocery challenge was not too good this month. I spent £131.87 out of a budget of £105. Bit over optimistic as the parents came up and I stocked up on nice stuff.
    8) Also I have managed to bring my DFD forward by another month to march 2015.

Right, that is just about it for now.

  • Hi Folks,

Managed to get save another 20p today, taking my total to the land mark £20. :j

Also increased my 1p,2p,5p and 10p jar to £23.88

Did not manage a NSD today as I had 5-a-side football

Managed to make £25 today on matched betting so my make £10 a day challenge is still going well.

Also managed to use the £25 from matched betting to pay off some of my barclaycard. So the PAD challenge is still going strong

    I have updated my signature.

    See you later

    Hello everybody,

    Hope everybody is doing well.

Sorry I have not updated for a long time. Been quite busy. I have managed to lose track and gone slightly backwards with the money saving..

Also I split up with my girlfriend recently so trying to cope and get my head sorted.

Anyway, I will try and get a plan together in the next few days and get the diary rolling again.

    Take care

Hi money fritter... Good to see you back. I'm really really sorry to hear about you and your girlfriend splitting up. It's a nasty thing to go through. Things will definately get better though even if it doesn't feel like it at the moment! Take each day as it comes and try keep your chin up!!

As for the money saving.. you've obviously had a rough time lately. but you're back and going to get back into it, so don't be too hard on yourself! We all have blips now and again, it's the facing upto it again thats the hard part. You were doing so well, and you will again!

    Good luck Money Fritter!

    Hi Bowski,

Thanks for the support. Well the last couple of days I have managed to sort a few things out and I have been looking at some of the challenges to get me going again.

I am thinking of doing the 'Live on 4k a year' challenge, as I really need to catch up and get back on track. I worked all my money out last night, and I think I should be able to do it.

I am also finally hoping to sell some books on amazon and get back into the NSD, PAD and other challenges. I will update properly with figures later on this evening. I will also update my signature and change me DFD.

    Thanks
