Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

  • Really? I was wondering about when this switch was going to happen myself. It'd give me more of a reason to use my account to be honest.

There was a communication to branches hidden away in the weekly circulars but there was hardly a fuss made about it.

Hopefully, the RBS basic bank account (Key Account) won't offer an Electron card like Halifax and Co-op, and instead offer a VISA card like Barclays and LTSBs basic bank account.

I wonder why Natwest is not following RBS on switching the debit system. Thought they would do since they are in the same banking group.

Spoke to a staff on the web chat about the change in debit system. They don't know about it either. I don't know why.
