Books might be good for you, but also things like STP and Dooyoo you can dip in and out of whenever you have 5 spare mins. With the books it kicked off from me clearing own some of my own, along with loads of clothes and things, and just went from there!

i've started on Dooyoo and have managed to do my first review, just need to get cracking and get some more done. I also have a few pieces of jewellery left over from my days as a Virgin Vie manager so really need to get it onto ebay asap, it's just keeping up the motivation which is why i have decided i need to try starting slowly this time as in the past i've done loads, then lost interest and ended up spending the cash!

my little boy is going out with his grandad this afternoon so i will see what i can get done today. I still have a fair few things left at my parents house from when i moved out. I'm guessing since i haven't had it for the past 3 years than i can really do without it!

Now is a great time to be selling on ebay and amazon, people are buying a lot more in the run up to Christmas. I think I'm going to be posting some of my more choice items in the next few days without waiting for free listings day, as will probably make more for them this side of Christmas.

I'm sat here in floods of tears with no idea of what to do. The joint account with the ex have written to me telling me if I do not pay the arrears within 7 days I will have a CCJ placed against me. The letter was written on the 2nd and sent to my ex's mothers house, I only received it today. I've called up and they won't speak to me, say it's out of their hands now. I have the money to pay it off sat in savings but can't do it until they put the account into my name only as the ex will just withdraw all the money. They say they never received the form, but I sent it signed for and someone signed for it. It took me 5 months to get him to sign that form, he won't do it again. What am I supposed to do if they won't speak to me on the phone, ignore my letters, and the nearest branch is so far away I could never make it and go to work. I just want this sorted and it seems like even if you try you're bggred anyway so why bother. He walked away, they don't know where he is, so nothing happens to him, but I try to do this the right way and I'm screwed for it.

I haven't read the whole of your thread but was thinking if they are demanding money and you can pay it with savings how would he be able to draw on it?? Surely the money would go straight to the outstanding amount rather than be in the account for him to get.

Morning all. I'm feeling a little better today, I'm going to go to work and leave at 4 so I can drive over to the nearest branch of the evil alliance and leicester, so I can see a real person and talk face to face. I feel like more will be achieved that way. I considered going over before work but the copy of the letter I sent is on my work pc and I want to take that with me. This just seems utterly ridiculous, I have the money to pay it off, I'm really trying here while he just walked away from it all.

hey dinah i hope that you meeting with A&L goes well today. I guess he would have to sign to take his name off the account, for him not to be able to access it? Ho hum. At least you can ensure that all comms goes to your new address rather than your ex mum in laws?
