Well the voucher thing seems to be sorted, the guy who runs Qype is an absolute star, and very efficient too. Looks like that should come through in the next few days.
Thanks for the hug Cinny, feels good (and warming, havent taken my coat off yet today!).
Going to have another hunt this evening, and will call alliance and leicester, again, to confirm what the girl this morning told me was corrent.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hi Dinah,
Haven't posted for a few days, but was just catching up and wanted to send you big hugs. So sorry to hear your having a bad day.
This whole bank thing seems so stupid with your ex!! I dont know how you havent screamed down the phone by now, to be honest if it was me i would be threatening them with court action by now, what do they expect you to do? Sounds like your well rid of your ex!! He sounds such a swine!
I hope your feeling better soon and get this all sorted.
Great news that your OH might be coming back earlier!

MSE didn't tell me there were new posts! Evil!
Anyway, I have a month to sort things out, I have a copy of the signed form, so I'll send it again, recorded not signed for this time, and keep chasing it. I'm feeling a lot calmer about the whole business, but I still want the extra fees taken off! £25 more has come off the debt, sold an ipod for a nice round £25 cash last night, can't remember if I took it off my sig or not though! Also sold £38 worth of things on ebay last night, need to wait for the money to clear before I will count it though. Want to try to list a few more things prior to Christmas, especially an acoustic guitar, need to really do that tonight to get it done in time.
Have about 25 things to parcel up tonight, so that's this evening sorted. I signed up to the £20k in 2009 challenge yesterday, but then today at work I kinda offered to do a second Masters, so that's going to leave me a whole lot less time to make the pennies!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Got the guitar listed last night, don't hold out much hope of it selling though, and made £2 on STP. Also did a couple of onepoll surveys, and wrapped my 23 parcels which took several hours and I fell asleep halfway through! Going to take them down to the post office at lunchtime, bet the queue is even longer today and last time it took an hour  Going for a mystery shopping posh meal tonight, was supposed to take mum as it's one of her favorite places, but shes ill, so dad is coming and he's wary to say the least! He's happier with the one on Sunday which is a 'real ale' type mans place.
Want to get another £2.50 on STP tonight so I can get another pay out. I'm also trying to do 3 dooyoo reviews today, one done so far. Received a few more boxes of books last night, mostly 80s things that I don't think will sell very well but if just one of them is worth £5 then that covers the cost of buying all of them. A few of the kids books are good, I havemn't opened the box of fiction yet. One of the books was a copy of 'Good wives' by Lousia May Alcott, always wanted to read that so I've swiped that one! I'm going to try to list 30 books a day so they're all up within a week, depending on when I get back tonight though that might have to start tomorrow!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Wow Dinah, I've been reading your thread for a while and just wanted to say a big well done for working so bloomin hard at this! You never seem to lose your momentum, listing books, wrapping stuff, doing surveys, STP etc. I find it so inspirational, so thank you!
I tend to have good weeks then it all goes quiet for a week or so before I can be bothered to start over again. I need to take a leaf out of your book and stay on top of it all. The amounts you've paid off are just staggering. Thank you for taking the time to share it with us all on here.
