Lost my bottle on waiting for the £50 cash on dooyoo, read about another person whose entire account was closed when they tried to cash in. Have cashed in a voucher, if this comes through i'll go for the cash next maybe, but I might just use dooyoo as a treat fund to get my art and crafty books from to do my reaserch for my little creative hobby/wannabe money maker.

Yey finally some money has gone into my account! Got £57 from Ebay funds, £10 from STP and £11 from a mystery shop meaning I have now hit my financial targets for the month, and with only 4 days to spare!

  • :p Morning my dear(s), hope everyone's well this morning! I'm v tired from staying up late finishing my book (rock n roll), and not at all in the mood for fiddly, way-more-complicated-than-it-should-be work :( Might try and do some dooyoo stuff instead :p

Dinah, you make it sound so easy smashing through your targets like that. Making me wonder how much I can save next year if I put my mind to it... Bank account is still overdrawn at the moment though as a couple of fraudulent payments which weren't flagged up as unusual went through so although I've got about £250 left over until payday on Monday, I'm actually showing up as £220 O/D. GRRRRR!! I'm still waiting for a declaration from the bank but all I've had through is a "We notice you've recently become overdrawn so we've given you an OD facility so you don't incur charges" letter

Lol that was 'helpful' of them. I was up reading till about 2 as well, accidentally RiSi-d the book I was still reading! It was a Christmas one so figured I would only have a hope this side of Christmas! But it's gone now, was a bit of a let down really, typical chick lit, nothing happened at all, put me off Christmas too! Going to read 'The Testament of Gideon Mach' next.

OH is going to sort out the box of books I recieved where I found one with evidence of bookworm and freaked out when he's over next week, but amazon has stopped dead now, although still a little RiSi. Still waiting on 2 ebay payments on ended items too.

I still can't work out how I seem to clear so much, when I think of it in my head it's maybe £150 ebay a mnoth, £40 STP, never had a survey payout yet, £20 mystery shopping, £150 amazon and so on, yet somehow at least another grand a month seems to creep in threre!

Got my cheque through from the second mazuma mobile today - despite being held together with its own wires only I got the full £17 for it!

Sent the 3 letters to HSBC and Barclaycard reclaiming charges on CCs yesterday, as well as the letter to A & L. Turns out the address they gave me does not exist - the postcode is missing a number - so the last letter might not have genuinely arrived!

  • Is bookworm an actual thing? I thought it was just an affectionate term for someone who reads a lot!! What is evidence of one? I've just read The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas which was very good but not very Christmassy!! I'm deciding what to move on to - another holocaust book or something a bit more light-hearted?!

You can't have the holocaust at Christmas! Go for something more upbeat!

Ever seen woodworm holes? Basically it's those but in books, open the book and loads of dust and bookworm poop comes out, its horrible. I haven't actually seen a bookworm so I'm hopinf it's old damage cos if there is actual bookworms the whole box of books will have to be trashed.
