  • Oh yuk, bookworm poo! I tried to google image it to see what one looked like but it's all friendly-looking things with big specs! What a shame if the lot has to go. Are you going to have to go through them all and check? How many books are we talking? Still, the path to debt-free-ness never did run smooth I suppose! :o

OH is gonna look through them, I'm a wuss. When I found that one I plunged myself into a bath of only hot water I was so freaked out! It's a box of 170 books so not millions, but still a few.

Lol yeah, I was itching in my hair like something was there for days. I have really long hair so it tends to freak me out when I get near 'dirty' things.

Have another MS shop meal tonight, should actually make a few pennies from this one. Also need to put some work into OH's romantic pressie if it bleeding arrives!

  • I always seem to dip my hair in my food if I don't tie it back :o

Intriguing pressie hints but I know you can't say anything on here. I was talking to a work colleague who was telling me about a romantic thing he got his wife years ago. He bought her an ordinary diary but inside he'd written things they'd do together every month for the whole year, ahh! Actually this would be a fairly quick and easy thing to do for OH... Hmm.... But would that mean if I said 'weekend in London on 30th April' I'd have to pay for it all? Or if I said trip over to the Lakes for the day I'd have to drive (I always drive like I'm doing my driving test with him, he criticises me so much that I'm on edge and do everything wrong )? I think it would. Hmm... Think it's something I'd prefer to receive than to give! :p

Lol that does sound really sweet. I'm not good at the romance thing - my crowning moment was sneaking a cake and candle over to ireland in my handbag, stealing a plate out his dads cupboard, and on the way back from his birthday meal whipping it out while sat beside the river Shanon, bent candle and all!

i always seem to find i'm more practical than romantic. That is unless i make OH a mini scrap book of some event in our lives which he loves, but i can't let him get used to them :)

Sounds like you're still making loads of progress, won't be long before you're together permanently.
  • Aww, I love stuff like that- it's even more romantic when it's flawed!

Was one of the coldest nights of the year, I think he just wanted to get inside!

Really hope its not long until we're together, everytime I mention him choosing a course at the moment he gets all worked up that he doesn't think he can live in England, we're nasty barbarian invaders to him. Worst part is its not mainly the people he doesn't want to leave, just the country. Whereas to me I don't want to leave England because I want my kids to grow up around my parents, mum has spent the last 10 years on tenderhooks for grandkids, she so wants to be involved, I would hate to take that away from her, and I would hate my kids to miss out on that. My mind just keeps circling this, I wish I knew he would come and try it here, it's kind of soul destroying that a giant piece of rock is quite possibly more important to him than me. Don't care how it's spun, that's what it comes down to in my mind and always will. But if that is the case I really need to know that now not in 5 years!

I get where you're coming from but they'd also have grandparents in Ireland so they wouldn't be completely missing out on family. But then there is your job over here that you seem to love alot!! It might just be nerves for him, final commitment and all. Be a big thing for him, for you both really.

Not in the mood for work today, I was up late last night too reading! Finished my secret shoppers book. Very chick lit, but if any of you fancy it I can send it your way no problem!
