That is the downside to MSE parties! And no party bags afterwards...Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Well done on ebing debt free tomorrow Dinah, you really are an inspiration!
I had a manic morning at work this morning but finished at one and then drove down to Southampton where I am now, staying at my parents for the weekend, looking after cats while they go away.0 -

OH has just text me with the greatest ever suggestion for tea, steak night at the pub! Mmmmm, this means half a bottle of wine which means staggering home afterwards to fall asleep on the sofa as I'm a total lightweight!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Sounds lovely Birdie! I am sick of work, been such a chewy day. I'm going to write a to-do list for tomorrow so I know where I'm at when I come in in the morning, then I'm off home, where another to-do list awaits! Thank god it's another 3-day weekendWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Evening everyone
I haven't been around for a few days but have just being trying to catch up with the thread  I'm getting VERY annoyed with Northern Rock cos I won the PPI thing but, despite saying the money would be in my account within 10 days, it's not there 3 weeks later. I called them on Monday and they said sorry and it would be there by the end of the week. If it's not there tomorrow I will be calling them again and then will take the complaint higher. I've also done a very sensible/silly thing. I've decided to go back to my old job and have handed in my notice. The downside is that the money is less and there's no benefits like my current job but the upside is that my 40 mile round trip is now a 6 mile round trip and because I had pension, extra holiday and private health care taken out of my wage there won't actually be much difference in my monthly take home wage plus I will be home in 15 minutes instead of 45. I normally never go back but the conditions in my current job are getting to me so much I started to think I was losing the plot. Now, however, I need to find out ways of making a bit more money. I don't get many MS jobs (was reading your postings Dinah about NIM getting 9 at Catterick and was gutted cos I've just spent 6 months driving up and down to the garrison cos my nephew was training there - I could've made it a money making exercise!!!). At least I can make the 3 months notice I have to work worthwhile by doing loads of overtime!!
Anyway, better go and get ready for running when my darling boyfriend comes home.
Have a good evening xxLet's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:Virgin CC £9793.710 -
Urgh! Been fighting with the Travelodge sale, but came away with a saturday and a sunday night in central Edinburgh in a newly refurbished one with parking in October for £48, and two nights in Birmingham to go to the good food show (always wanted to go) and to cadburys world (okay, its just more food but still, mmmm) for £70 as it was very very busy because of the good food show. Still about 40% of the prices I had been looking at elsewhere though. I then had an eye-wander onto easyjet and hotels.com, could do 5 nights in Paris in June for our anniversary for under £200 each.... so tempted but I stayed good!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Blow me debt me! My blue eyes are turning green as we speak. I really cannot imagine the day I will be debt free but looking forward to it (yes far forward). I got my £2 for old mobile phone and £3 for a survey from pinecone so I will have to update my sig.
I have been so busy this week as GCSE's and reports are starting soon so I am trying to get a head start on it all as I was very stressed last year and needed to see the doctor in order to get me through.
Flexi time want a dream, I think my school owe me about 18 months for all the extra hours I've put in. Plus double time for marking until 2am.
Dinah - Kay say raa(?) want will be will be, if he gets the job then he should do it until something better comes along and if he doesn't then he can carry on with the farm and call centre.Total debt Feb 2012 = £54354.11 😳

Great deals on the hotels Dinah, I'm tempted to grab the London hotels now but I'd have to move money from savings (which I've been doing a lot of recently!) So I'll hang tight and wait until I have it saved up in my CA.
ROTE looking at your Sig your DFD has come down by a year since your LBM, that's fantastic! You'll get there in the end, Chin up!
In total agreement with Flower, Cadbury World is amazing - all the free curly wurlys a girl could want. Oh bum, fancy going myself now! Don't forget to get tickets from lastminute before you go, the lines in there are madness!0 -
