Pah, ironing's overrated! I haven't ironed anything since I moved, I think OH's only ironed 1 shirt! (And we don't look like tramps...I think!)Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Eeks! Can't believe you'll be DF tomorrow! Seems like the end of an era (SOB!), in a good way though of course! Haha, when I said I'd enjoyed the opera, we went to see Don Giovanni not dancing housewives, I guess that's the difference. It's good to do things like that though I think instead of the cinema every week. We go to comedy nights every now and then and I love them!
Cinny, I know I hated that woman too! When they filmed her going into McD's the day before her op and she was like 'They do salads there you know' then said the most unconvincing yes I've ever heard when the interviewer asked if that's what she'd had! I don't see how they can see that as the easy option over diet and exercise when it changes the way you eat for the rest of your life. (OH used to get called Tank when he played rugby before I knew him, don't think he looked like that bloke though!!)

I was thinking about that CC deal too Cinny! OH wouldn't be impressed with me getting another CC (he has no faith in me... not sure why, I needed all of the shoes and bags I've bought in the past!) but we could use it for food shopping and pay off every month and £30 vouchers could get a nice little treat.
Oooh, London will be fab Cinny, you'll have to go prepared with lots of BOGOF vouchers for restaurants etc, we went last year and felt very ripped off every time we bought...anything! We should have prepared more, next time I'll have a bag full of vouchers! We went to the Absolut Ice Bar which was pricey (£15 each for a 45minute 'session' in the ice bar and one piddly little drink in a funky ice glass) but it was really cool (excuse the pun!).Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Knowing me I'd print off far too many - when I went with my parents when we were walking around I kept on saying 'I could of got us a voucher for that!'
I think I'll apply, sent the link to OH too so if we both get it (highly unlikely I will!) that'll be £60 of vouchers between us for money we'd of spent anyways. You should go for it Birdie - just use it for your weekly shop or something like you said!
ETA: Have to be over 21 for the card, bum! Oh well, will just pass it onto my mum instead!0 -
Ooooh where has comedy nights around here Tete? I always end up going all the way up to the Hyena in Newcastle!
I'd never get a credit card with my rating at the moment - this weekends to do list while NIM is at work - write to Thompsons and to the financial ombudsman.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

The Arc has one the last Friday of every month, never seen anyone I've heard of but they're always really good. I think MBro Town Hall has one once a month as well but don't know anything about that.
That's what they were all saying on that prog Birdie - saying what they told the doctor they ate and what they really ate. And the doctors all know they're lying so why bother?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I really don't get it. Looking around my ofice there's only me and one other woman who are 'average' weight, all of the others are overweight in varying degrees. Only one admits eating too much, one is a serial yo-yo dieter who only managed to lose weight when on lipo-trim (lighter life style milkshake diet) but it made her hair thin out and her skin looked terrible to she stopped and piled it all back on. The fattest one claims she lives on fruit and veg! Knickers she does!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Oooh the Arc at Stockton? Will have to look into that.
NIM and I need to sit down and have a talk about the hours he works, but we need to find time to have the talk and we can't find time we're both at home. While we need the money, his present hours mean any day he's at both jobs hes basically out the house for 13-14 hours. Not really sure what to do, at the moment he gets Saturdays off, and monday day times, but he can be called into the farm any other day and he works all weekday evenings. However not keen on him dropping any of the evenings as the farm work is ad hoc and we don't know when it will be there, and weeks he only got 2 days on the farm we'd be completely reliant on the 5 evenings in the call center to make it through.
Most of the girls in my office are on a diet, but none really do any exercise and then they sneak biscuits - its mad.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I'm surprised NIM can keep track of where he's working and when, it sounds a bit all over the place, poor boy!
