Don't know if they have the authority to take it off my file (hope they do), but have written asking for a better outcome due to the difficult situation they have put me into. Lets see what they say back!

Fingers crossed for you Dinah! It's so unfair that it's given you a bad rating, you spent so much time going into branches, sending off letters and forms. Eugh, Bankers!

Went to my Grandparents, thought I was a lucky girl as my Grandma had made me her infamous chocolate cake (with a fudge middle!) then they gave me £200, used it to pay my board, put £20 in my holiday fund and £10 for spends! So it's kind of like I've got two wages this week now, putting the rest in the bank tomorrow. Lots to go into my savings!

My Grandad was saying about the bike, which i had to agree with!, that I should save the money on top of what I have now, so I have to work for it rather than just falling lucky for it. I think my Grandpa could be Martins left hand man!

Ooh lucky you Cinny, was that your birthday money off them?

I am looking forward to my 21st because i know that my grandparents always give the grandchildren £400 for their 21st!! I bet they regretted deciding that, so far their have been 4 of their grandchildren turn 21, only another 10 to go!!

10?! Your poor Grandparents! When's your birthday?

18th is the big birthday to them, I'm the last in the lot of our gang! So my Grandparents are free from the big birthday payments.

Just checked my online banking and I've been randomly given £2.28. Nice! Slightly confusing but nice.

Mine is in August. It was kind of the decision of my eldest cousin whether 18 or 21 would be the big birthday, and he decided he wanted the money for his 21st so thats the way it is. The only rule is we have to have something to show for our £400 (mind you i think that has just been decided for me! Think they know now that im living with OH it would just go on bills!)

I love getting free money, no matter how much it is!!

Just found an old phone in the cupboard and can get £38 for it on mazuma mobile, not bad!!

That's really good! My found phones only seem to fetch £10 tops.

I keep on thinking 'If I take £300 out of savings I could get my bike' argh! Should really wait a few weeks to make sure I really want it, but if someone takes my Princesss Classic *shakes fist* I think I have a Pashley problem...:o

I'm sure if that one does sell Cinny, there will be another identical one available, would be a poor business plan for them only to make one bike!

In fact.... http://www.google.co.uk/products?hl=en&q=pashley+princess+classic&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=z5jKSZLqHqnwnQe7-oGSAw&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&resnum=1&ct=title - lots of them!

Quit being so practical you! They're having the sonnets and poppy models come in in a few weeks too, along with the black princess classic, so i'll have more to pick from!

I'd appreciate it now if I got it, but I should wait so I can get more money stashed away for it. You ladies need to keep me in shape. I'll have it for the summer, no matter what.

Flower - I know what you mean about paying off debt on low incomes, OH is on credit cards and overdrafts, he really wants to be DF but his money barely touches the sides some months. I'm sure you'll think of other ways, if we all put our noggins together. Car boots in the summer always have a good outcome!
