For your sister, if she's artsy she could use etsy to sell some of her work? When I signed up it was really cheap to list items, there's a good sense of community on there too.

Welcome to the thread - we do ramble a lot and go off on tangents but we aren't half bad! :hello:

Thanks Cinny, I'll have a look into that. I'm not letting her sell the canvas I snaffled for my wall though!:p

Hey Snow White :hello: love the word 'snaffle' - it's just not used enough!

Hola Tete! I was reading your Dooyoo and wondering if I was still considered a young person :) Well done on the crown!

I love the word snaffled too, my grandpop uses it from time to time!

Taking another break from the stock list, and as my horoscope says 'If you're studying or concentrating on complex matters, be sure to take regular breaks' so looks like it's beyond my control! :D

Found a lovely journal for my ma, and another lovely one for myself, I'm sick of scribbling in notepads and taping pages together. Ordering offline so I can spend saturday morning walking my pooch instead of shopping. Thinking of dusting off my bike too - me and OH can go on a bike ride sunday morning if he comes over.

Phew, boss didn't even look at my claim form when she signed it so I haven't had to spend almost an hour's wage on a Spritzer! :)

I agree about snaffle, I do make a conscious effort to use it. Does anyone else know the word cadge, same sort of meaning?

Hi SW! I'm jealous of you arty types who can paint :( I could probably manage a Jackson Pollock at best!

Poddle, I think you're considered a young person by ETS up to about 35 which is quite cheering!

I loooove my notepad Cinny, (though I have an Edward Monkton Diary which is good too), it's got all these lovely little doodle in and little silly bits of text. I've just made the mistake of looking up the website on the back to try ansd find a piccy. It's not there, but there's so much lovely STUFF! Uh-oh!

I'm Aries, I'm meant to be courageous, enthusiastic, confident, dynamic and quick-witted non of which apply to me at all, I have to book people in for come backs, I think of fantastic ones after a few days.

I think I've done alright on the stock list for today, with The Archers and Radio 4 to keep me plodding on! Just over 1hour until home time though.

Oh no Tete, not artbox! *covers eyes* The home and living part of that site makes my bank account weep.

I've heard the word cadge used a few times I think, I use mooch though!

This is the one I was looking at for me: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Paperchase-Flexi-Notebook-Butterflies-Design/dp/B001R4GZK2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&m=A25UKN2GV2CY2G&s=merchant&qid=1236871043&sr=1-1 Right now I'm using an old black n' red notebook I found unloved in one of the office cupboards. Rather MS of me, i thought!

    Hey Everyone

Cinny, thanks for the foodie link :-) You should definitely dig out your old bike and go for a ride, it's getting more like spring now.

Today I'm having a bit of skive around the house. Just watched that film 'Rachel Getting Married' I thought it was a chick flick but I didn't catch on to the junkie sister part, and it was actually quite depressing. Bummer as I was hoping for an ending so happy my cheeks would hurt for the rest of the day.

Well done for the crown Tete! Excellent review, and the scheme sounds ace.

Whoops just posted that midway through. Dinah you must be so excited about the hols now - just around the corner. Did you decide to do the joint account thing with OH? We have just got one after Christmas, it's weird - I can see all OH naughty habits like getting money out from those cash machines that charge £1.75!

Hey to Poddle, Flower and Snow White too, and Birdie with DOTD! x
