DOTD! I looks like candy floss!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Frou Frou Tastic!! You were right yesterday, you are getting closer to a Jordan dress. Although I do quite like it, maybe without the hip thing.
Just taking a break from the stock list. Decided to leave the spa days, going to get my ma a journal for mothers day. She's been worried sick over work or money so I figure she can use it to go into more detail than she does with me.0 -
That's a lovely idea Cinny!
I agree about the hip thing but I do quite like the dress, even in pink! I'd have to have big hair to go with it though!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Morning girls. Eek, I go away for two days and it takes an hour to catch up on all the posts!
Congratulations ROTE, glad mother and baby are well - Amber's a lovely name.
Poddle, that's rubbish about the travel costs to interview, you should enquire whether you can claim it back - I have done for a couple of interviews I've been to. Good luck with it anyway!
I've been in Fancy London at a very fancy hotel (TV in the shower!!) - all work though so just about to start filling in my expenses. I got one drink on the Tuesday evening with my meal - a wine spritzer - and it cost £7.50!!! I nearly died. Just wondering if I can get away with claiming it...
Ooh and I got a crown on Dooyoo! Not bad for a piece of writing I had anyway that didn't take long to amend! (shh)
*edit* I really like the top half of DOTD! Not sure about the bottom though, looks a bit like it's been shredded!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I wondered where you'd gone Tete!! A tv in the shower ehy? Now that I could get used too. You could always give it a go claiming it, if you can claim your food why not one glass too?
Well done on the crown :T0 -
Thanks! Going to do a crappy 300 word one later to make up for it! My mileage for this week comes to £52, which isn't too bad seeing as it only costs me £30 to fill my tank and I've only actually used about half of it! Can't find my manager though to ask about the alcohol. Had an email from the school manager though while I was off about staff taking the mickey with their expenses claims, so doesn't bode too well!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

:hello:Hello! Hope you all don't mind me popping in. I've just read (most of) your thread Dinah and I'm impressed - you've got so much get-up-and-go. Do you only sleep 3 hours a night or something - how do you fit everything in? Well done on getting the debts down and inspiring others :T.
Where did you learn to paint btw? Is it easy to sell your work? I reckon my sis should do this as she's really talented. I'm more of the painting-by-numbers kind of gal but I'm going to start a set of pictures for Mother's Day now - wish me luck! I've got 4 little canvases and am going to do a some spring(ish) foliage/flowers - I'm thinking kind of Marimekko-style.0 -

Hhm, difficult one as you don't want to look silly if you try and claim it back. Maybe wait and ask your manager first?0 -

Marimekko style flowers would look lovely, great for a mothers day present, I'm sure you won't need our luck. But good luck anyways!
For your sister, if she's artsy she could use etsy to sell some of her work? When I signed up it was really cheap to list items, there's a good sense of community on there too.
Welcome to the thread - we do ramble a lot and go off on tangents but we aren't half bad! :hello:0 -
