The ultimate incentive to get debt free, can I do it by New Years?

I do like the name Lucy! I've only known 2 people in my tiny life called Lucy, three now if I count you. Kate on the other hand seems to be pretty common, my brother is called Jake which I don't hear too often.
I do like the name Mae, is it said like May?
I do have to admit to liking the names Agatha and Violet though, my children might end up having some very old fashioned names indeed.
It was very sweet of your OH to do that Birdie! He needs a gold star!
My whole outfit today only cost me £27. Jeans were £8 from Primary (quite well made, kinda of high waisted to hide any muffin top!) top was from George at asda and so were my shoes! I do feel bad for buying from Primark but some things I can't help myself for.0 -
As for the weight chat - I'd hate to be skinny! I'm pretty happy at size 12 (no longer an inbetween size!) I eat a pretty balanced diet and do enough exercises so I don't worry, never once thought of my BMI or whatever, as long as I feel good that's alright by me.
Morning all!
Cinny, you're so well-balanced! Some of us here (and by that I mean me) have spent a lot of their 20s getting into debt and stressing about their weight... Good on you if you avoid that and keep saving - no one will begrudge you a shopping spree now and again (and maybe again...)
Congratulations on becoming an Auntie again Lara! I'm quite taken with Rory Aidan
I've just come back from yogalates which is a mixture of lying around and some fairly intense pilates. Today she added a squishy ball to the mix - it's a little embarrassing when it rolls off the small of your back and bounces down the hall (oops) but quite good fun!
Birdie, your OH has earned some serious brownie points! What a sweetheart!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Hey Tete, they've just moved in January, but I am hoping to go over soon when I get all this Uni stuff sorted out.
They live in Copenhagen, towards the suburbs I think. So far they really like it, and it's a lot closer to home than their last place in New Jersey.
My nephew Daniel was really freaked out by people speaking Danish - he couldn't understand why he didn't know what the people were saying, LOL.
If you ever go, let me know Tete and I'll ask my sis for some recommendations x
Just catching up so forgive me if I miss something.
Congrats on becoming an aunt Lara! Exciting news!!!

Yes, AND you make amazing cakes and you sound like a super girlfriend!
Right, enough of the Cinny-worship, it's a bit embarrassing:rotfl:LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Yes Cinny, 'May' but like Mae West. I LOVE Agatha, and Agnes! And I really wanted to call my daughter Alma but OH is Alan and I think it might me a bit similar... Kate isn't too common, and it's very sophisticated
I agree with Poddle, you are VERY well balanced, I'm waiting for you to have a breakdown and start injecting heroin into your eyeballs or something!
Yogalates sounds a bit schizophrenic to me! Although I did Yoga Dance once which I liked a lot better than yoga.
Hi CMD! How you?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Hey,
I'm good. Off to the lakes for the weekend today so I am in great form. 12 of us are going so should be great fun!!!
How are you?
I quite like Rory Aidan. I like the Irish spelling of Rory. It is Ruari.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Oh no, I don't mind. Carry on
My great granny taught me how to bake when I was little, I used to help her make pies from fruit from my Great Grandpas old garden. So once she died I kind of kept pushing myself to bake or try new things to try and keep her memory going, kind of sad but I do love baking now.
As for OH, he's now emailing me fretting over what to get me for my birthday. I asked him to spend whatever his budget is on lime and orange tictacs. Sadly, I think he thinks I'm joking.
Yogalates sounds fun! I'll have to look it up and see if I can find a class nearby.
Tete - I think I saw it on supersize vs superskinny this week actually, the yoga with the blankets (Ikea blankets, I noticed!)0 -

Scarily I think my family are too. I fail rebellion! Kate is a very pretty name when I don't think about it on me, I'm clumsy and forgetful. Alma is a sweet name though, I'm still stuck on Ralph if I have a boy though.
CMD - your weekend sounds fun! Will you be going on walks or anything?0 -
Yes lucky you CMD off to the Lakes! OH and I are off on a walk in the Yorkshire Dales tomorrow - 'Muker, Keld and the Corpse Way' - apparently there was no church in Muker till 1580 so before that they had to take the dead along that road to the nearest consecrated ground - we might see a ghost!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Hi CMD, that sounds fab! I'm hoping the weather stays all crisp and clear so we can head out on the South Downs tomorrow. I'm trying to find a dog to borrow
I'm off to view a couple of houses with my parents. Not that interesting you may think, but they got divorced in 1992 and they got back together last year and now they're buying a house together again! It's really no surprise that I'm not very well-balanced...
Good luck with the ghosts Tete!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380
