    Hi Tete,

Yes think the only thing keeping me going is the fact that it is friday!!!

I do have a dooyoo account but i really should get on and do some more reviews - have got a list of things i could do, its just getting on with it!

PS3s are expensive, i dont think there is any chance he will be getting a brand new one. The only thing putting me off is that even if i save up the money for it, once hes got it hes going to want new games every now and then at about £40 a time. I could easily save £20 from now until his birthday, but cant be doing with the arguements everytime he 'needs' a new game!

Oh and the joys of living with your partner lol, at least before it was his mum that had to listen to his moaning once i had gone home!!

Hi Flower! If you start saving now you may be able to get the PS3 quite painlessly, especially if you remember to shop around and look for cashback, they seem tobe coming down in price so it won't be too expensive, I hope anyway!

This is why i am thinking about it now! Usually i think about 2 or 3 weeks before his birthday what he would like. Maybe i should set myself a target of saving £20 a week from now on, thats doable! Aways feel bad when i have savings and debts at the same time though - :money: i know martin would shout at me :rotfl:

Well, maybe not shout, just get really over excited and flap his hands a lot! :money:

I think that if you're saving for something in particular, not just for the sake of saying 'I've got £1500 in the bank... but I owe the bank £4000!', it is OK. That's how I get around it anyway!

I think Birdie's right, it's best to put a little away every week for a planned £250 spend in the future, rather than put an extra £250 on the credit card or whatever - at least you're planning.

How slow is this afternoon going?! I'm sure it was 3.30 like 2 hours ago :(

I know! I think the clocks are on a go slow today!

Just been trying to convince everyone at work to go to Aerial Extreme (http://www.aerialextreme.co.uk/index.php/gallery/category/C6) with me for our next team 'do'; I think I've got them convinced but I know there'll be a lot of women clinging onto trees when we're there!:rotfl:

I'm going to try to sneak to Harrogate tomorrow, there's a big designer liquidation sale at a hotel, at least 80% off! :j I shouldn't be spending but we're going to a ball in July and I need to find a nice dress for not a lot of money!

    What are you up to?

I would be too, but if you don't push yourself to do scary things you don't know what fun you're missing! :D

I do have my limits though... Bungee jumping for example scares the bejeezus out of me!
