Hmm, I'm sure it would get old very quickly if I were actually called that!

Not sure about Dorcas Cinny but it reminded me about an Irish name - Lorcan - which I love! (I've probably spelt that wrong, I'm sure it'll be something like Laouirceighn) :D

Oh give over, I'm a right pain!

I've been mulling over this name after hearing it on Larkrise - Dorcas! I think child name wise, I'd go for Ralph and Mary.

Hmmm, fancy jam tarts now. Looks like they'll be in for our picnic tomorrow. With lemonade, cucumber sandwiches, and a flask of tea for OH. I'm feeling painfully english.

You do sound painfully English my dear!

I remember Dorcas from 7 Brides, I always thought it was Dork-us and found it terribly funny as a youngster, was quite upset when I found out it was Dorcas!

I keep switching baby names, I like names like Eva/ Evie and Genevieve (which I've just realised can be shortened to a version of Eve!) but OH doesn't them, he wants Kat. I reckon it's because its short, simple and easy to spell!;)

Me and my sister still laugh at Dorcas, no matter how it's spelt.

Right, I best scoot. Have a nice weekend girls, Walking or whatever you're doing!

    Hello everyone!

God it takes me so long to catch up on the posts by the time i log on!

Cinny - glad your OH liked his birthday present. It is my OHs birthday in July and i know he really wants a PS3, so i think i am going to try and save up for one for him. Part of me thinks thats maybe a sightly extravagent (sp?) present seen as its not a major birthday, but if it makes him happy!

Getting seriously down about debts at the minute! Feels like a never ending battle, think i need to start doing some more ebayer - or something to get some more money in at least!!

Do you DooYoo Flower? That's where I've been all afternoon, writing an epic review then frantically rating other people's so they'll rate me back at 1.5p a time!

Hope you're not feeling too down, it is Friday after all. I know what you mean though, once you're grown up, money just seems to run screaming from your bank account :(

PS3s are pretty expensive I seem to think? I do want one though for that Little Big Planet game - it looks so fun!

Hi Flower! If you start saving now you may be able to get the PS3 quite painlessly, especially if you remember to shop around and look for cashback, they seem tobe coming down in price so it won't be too expensive, I hope anyway!

Sorry you're feeling down about the debts, I know what you mean about feeling like you're getting nowhere, I get one thing cleared and I find another to work on or something pops up that bumps it back up again! OH and I really need to sort out our money but we've got accounts to open and figure out joint finances before we can work out how much we can pay towards debts! I seem to have been stagnating for the past few months, really need to get back on track!
