  • Could you get something a bit like Bucks Fizz had at Eurovision - a big skirt that rips off for the purposes of dancing?

Ooooh, yeah! Although knowing my luck I would have a 'wardrobe mishap' a la Janet Jackson!

Afternoon!! Hope you're feeling better soon Tete. And as for wonky ears I'm the same!

Went shopping after lunch, saw some shoes in look magazine I decided I needed - £4 from primark and they don't feel like they will fall apart when I first wear them out! Also got some much needed grey jeans (I like to think they are slimming) and top.

Decided what I'm getting OH for his birthday - I'm getting him a make over! New clothes, new shoes, new aftershave and a hair cut (not by his mother for a change - shock horror) Much better than a laptop, and more importantly in my price range :D

Today's dress is gorgeous, I want it and I don't even have an occassion!

Managed to destroy the trainers stress worm on the course today - not good!

So, I have a bit of a confession. NIM was coming later than me to dinner last night, so I went in and put our name down for a table. And I decided to sort of face my fear/challenge myself, and try something out. So I gave my name as his surname, and it didn't freak me out. So I pushed it a bit further, and when she said our table was ready, was the other party going to be there soon? I said 'yes I just saw my husband's car go past'. And that didn't freak me out either. In fact it felt kind of nice. Maybe I'm not so scared as I thought I was - you can keep the dress a day feature Birdie, seems to be helping me!

Hope the house finally goes through this weekend hon.

Out tonight for a leaving do. Going to go to NIMs work and pose on his car bonnet for when he comes out, then take him with me. Although prancing around a Billingham industrial estate in the dark sounds like a bad idea!

So, turns out the £60 food money NIM was planning to pay to mum, she wants it to be taken off the total she has on a CC in my name. This is really good I feel, as it means there will be no debt left in my name by August/September, all going well. However NIM and I need to talk more, but I think we're pretty decided to apply for another 0% card so we can save at the same time. OFC if I'm turned down, it's not the end of the world, we'll just pay it off and forget the savings.

Awwww! See, it isn't all bad. You'll be Mrs N(ice)IM before you know it.

I was talking to my Mum about her wedding today - turns out she (like dinah) didn't want to move in with my Dad until they were married. They were sorting out their house the night before the wedding. Moving house and a wedding in the same day, she's a braver lady than I thought!

Great news about being debt free August/September time (fingers crossed) hope you have a nice night out!

I think you are way more into weddings than you are letting on Dinah! I wasn't even able to do that in a restaurant just after I got married. It seemed so weird. I kept thinking someone would laugh at me! We may have a bridezilla on our hands yet!!!!

Think I'm still drunk this morning! NIM says us planners are a danger to society and ourselves! That said he's the one who appears to have lost his car keys! He decided he wanted a drink so dad agreed to pick us up, then a few hours later had to call dad back to say NIM wanted to go dancing so we'd get a taxi. Had a really good night all in all, and best part is NIMs cheque has cleared, for about £500 more than we were expecting.

NIM has gone with mum to the police station to see if anyone handed in his keys, then think he's going straight to work. I can't remember what I was going to do this morning....
