I can touch my toe easy peasy, bend at the knees and I'm there
Hope you're feeling better soon Tete! Don't want to make it worse but it sounds like what I had last week - and that was the start of a cold, the type where you lay down and can't breathe. It's lovely. Go get some calpol (might not help but sure tastes good)0 -

Eek, was the spider alive?! Sounds very traumatic! Well done on the gym front though. I'm doing a 'yogalates' class on Friday in the hope that it will make me all flexible and tall. At 5'3, I'm stumpy rather than elegant but I can touch me toes, so you may be right Tete!
I'm trying to get my money's worth at the gym and I did my first spinning class yesterday - I can confirm that it was indeed the work of the devil! Sore buttocks today, but it felt like it must have done some good so (and I might regret this) I'm going next week too

Staggering around the kitchen clutching an empty bottle of Calpol is a normal Friday night in for me.0 -
Lol. Nice image of your Friday nights Cinny!
Suprised I feel almost whole today, little stiff but mostly fine, still in 4" heels so can't be that bad! Got another pilates class tonight, then nothing tomorrow night, is date night with NIM but might leave work really early, ie 4pm, go to the gym, and still be home by 5.30pm ready for date night. Already pretty sure the actual gym part bores me but I like the classes. There is a pilates on a Wed but it's an advanced one, so not going to go until I'm a bit stronger. Will have to ask the fitness programme guy what I can do to strengthen my pathetic 'muscles'! Until I do still too scared of drowning. Someone at work brought in chocolate orange cookies and the most solid refridgerator cake in the world today, would look wierd if I had half a cookie wouldn't it?! Whole cookie = too long on the cross trainer!
NIM doesn't seem to have managed to get extra shifts, which is a pain. He's putting together the wardrobe and doing STP and surveys today, and sending a parcel, so he's kind of taken over on the money making front this week as I'm out till late monday and tuesday, and out with him wednesday, thursday I should be able to get a bit done though. Will also try to do a few more dooyoos today. Got sent a teddy bear in the post from Butlin's bingo (free scratchies) for being a loyal customer!

Aw! Did it have a little butlins t-shirt on? The bear that is..
Just have the cookie! You burn 85 calories an hour by just being awake so you need to keep yourself going. Or atleast that would be the excuse I'd use
Talking of food I need to go have some, suddenly feeling faint and hungry.0 -
You're certainly getting your money's worth out of the gym Dinah! You're making me feel very guilty about not exercising enough, I'm sucking in my tummy and doing bottom clenches at my desk in an attempt to feel a bit better! LOL!
It's a shame that NIM can't any extra shifts, but he may get soon soon! I'm not going to mention the spider story as I'm terrified of them and would have keeled over and died if that happened to me! Dammit, that's mentioning the story!
Cinny, I think it's timed you tried to wean yourself off the Calpol now honey, I know it tastes nice but you're a big girl now!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Lol only been going 3 days, by 3 months it'll be more like 'found a gym card behind the sofa today, had forgotten I was a member - oops!'
You really burn that many calories a day just by being awake? That's about 1360 before you make any movement! I don't think I ate that much yesterday AND I went to the gym. In fact I'm certain I didn't!
Butlin's bear had a red coat on, and some funky trainers that said Billy on them.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

You burn 85 calories an hour by just being awake
I did not know that
I was under the impression that the recommended 2000 calories a day for a woman was all you need to function for the day doing ordinary things, then any extra you eat, you need to burn off, is that about right?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
