Was thinking I would start a new one when I was debt free, sort of a new chapter, since I'm going to continue the money making. Unless there is some kind of forum guidance that threads should be stopped at 100 pages?

I think that Martin posted a notice a while ago asking for threads to be stopped at 100 pages as it makes the site run more slowly or something. By the way everyone gasses on this thread you'll get another 100 pages in no time!

True, I think I will PM a board guide and ask, now, how do I find one?!

Hmm I reakon the board guides probably keep an eye on threads that are getting bulky, some have big pics and stuff, and will close them or contact the OP, right, challenge, to get debt free before we natter so much we get shut down!

Uhoh, just worked out to do venice and new york would only be about £3 each per day we need to save, suddenly my plan has legs....

This is a very interesting theory... can you show me your workings?

Just been out for lunch and it's snowing loads. I'm in two minds - on one hand I want the uni to close early and get a free afternoon off, on the other I want to stay and have my massage at 4... OH has been sent home from work, says the roads around Durham are gridlocked and they've had about 6 inches! Hope We still get to go out for tea tonight, I've been looking forward to it!

I know Poddle, poor little things crash-landing, soo cute and by all accounts so tasty! :(

How about you get your massage tonight and it's closed all tomorrow so you get a free day and a 3 day weekend? Best of both worlds! thankfully the snow isn't that bad here, doesn't seem to be settling.

Just decided I want a pet hamster :D not a clue why, this will pass!

My workings, I just got a quote for one week over our 1 year anniversary in June, £288 each, I however am allowing £400 each as we might want a more central hotel/it might go up a bit closer to the time. My friend went to NY in December last year, had a twin room in a very central hotel, cost her £388 on lastminute.com, however again I'm allowing £500 as it might go up/we might want a nicer hotel/pick a more popular date. so £1800 in total, we're almost exactly 10 months to the end of december, so £180 a month, therefore £90 each, divided by average of 30 days a month = £3 per person per day! Maths, the Dinah way. It's maths, but not as we know it.

I think you have enough pets Miss Cinny! Although I'd love a hamster, there's a pet shop in Harrogate where they have Australian pygmy hamsters (I think that's what they're called!) and they're soooooo cute! We may have to make room for a hamster...

Talking of hamsters, you have to see Bolt, it's so funny and the hamster in is great!

  • £388 - including flights?! Oooo, will have to get looking on lastminute!

Hamsters are nice Cinny but guinea pigs make the best noises! They're like little furbies!
