I agree Dinah i dont think it can be fraud. Like i said my OH did this for three years, he was the main driver but technically his mother owned the car, like you said i am sure they wouldnt give you the option if it was fraud!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0

Sorry Dinah I think I misunderstood. I thought you meant have him as a named driver. I didn't think the main driver could be someone other than the policy holder? Yup, he sounds like a risk alright - I'd make him get the busWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0

haha, poor NIM! I'd go for the cheap option then!
Swayed OH, the sad face does wonders. I also pointed out if the weather is rubbish his family have a place to clean and dry their clothes, if the place is okay for dogs they could always leave them with us if they wanted to go somewhere. Sorted! Just to talk to his family about it on sunday now.0 -
Well done Cinny, you manipulative little minx!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Lol bus from our house to Billingham involves a change in Stockton and in total takes over 1 hour 20 and costs over £8! It's mad, oh and the bus to my village stops at 6.15, so would have to go pick him up when he finishes at 8.30pm. Since he is also hoping to get a second job, a car is a nessesity. He would be a named driver, but it gave me the option too of main driver, and I put him. I also ran a quote through for if we were married, but he was the policy holder and I was named driver, only put it up by about £120. So moral of the story - marriage saves money! About £600 of it a year to be exact!

If i were you Dinah i would definatly put you down as the owner of the car. I dont understand how insurance companies justify the differences in pricesBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Grats Cinny, might be a good day for holidays all round, NIM is hinting he might say yes to Egypt! (You watch, I'll get home and it'll be £200 more expensive or I won't have noticed in the ts and cs you have to take responsibility for brining back an illegal immegrant or something). What you all going to do without the rambling for two weeks?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I didn't think it would work to be fair, I surprise myself sometimes!
Told my sister about New York in November - £535 each. Used Dinahs' maths and she seems interested! Could be a very costly year now.0 -

I'm in Ripon and it's been snowing all day with about an hour lunch break (even the weather needs to stop for lunch!) We've got a couple of inches by the looks of things; I was supposed to be going to the cinema with Mum and SiL tonight but we've called it off as we don't fancy getting stuck on the A19 if the snow gets worse!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0
