Maths, the Dinah way. It's maths, but not as we know it.

I like your maths, it means that there is a slight hope of going to New York! I'll have to convince OH!:T

Hamsters are nice Cinny but guinea pigs make the best noises! They're like little furbies!

My mum has 2, I love them to bits but they bring me out in a terrible rash. Still give them cuddles though, just in lots of layers.

I can't get one though, not with 2 cats! Dinah sits ontop of Larrys cage as it is, never mind them having something that moves on a wheel and stuff.

Looking on lastminute now aswell :rotfl: for that to New York I might re new my passport for christmas!

Oh god, all too tempted now. Will ask my sister tonight as we've promised each other since we were younger our first trip to the big apple would be together.

OH is still saying no to the cottage in Looe instead of camping. He said 'I'll look after you' I don't need looking after, I need a proper bed! I should stop being such a baby. The things I have to do..

I don't blame you Cinny, my worst nightmare is going camping! I'm a real 'Home Comforts' girl! I don't even like staying at OH's as it isn't as nice as my house!

I'm afraid I'd be with you on this one Cinny, I find camping insanely stressful. Can handle a caravan, or a cottage, but damnit it's a holiday, this should be a relaxing thing, i deserve an indoor loo and not to sleep with a pinecone wedged up places no pinecone should go!

Been trying to get OH a policy for the new car. If it is in his name, and the car is legally owned by him it comes up as over £3k. Add me as a named driver we can get it down to £1.2k, make me the legal owner and policy holder with him as named building up his own ncb, and it's £465. Think it might be worth us drawing up a gentleman's agreement, that's a heck of a lot to save when the car is only worth £500.

We had a deal that if I got it under £500 in his name (this was before i knew he'd only been passed a year!), we would go to Egypt. Well, it's not in his name but it's still building him ncb, wonder if I can count that?!

That's what I'm trying to get across, only less pineconey! I'm afraid that OH's family already think I'm posh. They always go on camping holidays with the dogs, but like Birdie I'm a home comforts girl. Really need to think of a way to 1. Bring OH around to the idea and 2. Bring his family around to the idea afterwards.

LOL! The last time I went camping was doing the Duke of Edinburgh in year 8. We accidentally pitched our tent on a slope, not noticable to walk around, but we kept slipping down to the bottom of the tent when we went to sleep, woke up in a ball pressed against the side with about 2/3rds of the tent empty as everything had slid down with us! I gave up after that, I'm clearly not cut out for it!
