Morning everyone! Yep, lots of snow up north too, haven't seen it like this for ages (well apart from Helvellyn the other week!).

Flower - hope you're feeling better now! All the bugs seem to have died down a bit round here (touch wood) but it was terrible over Christmas.

Cinny I'm well impressed with this Barry Manilow nail polish, I put some on on Saturday and it's still going strong with only the tiniest bits of wearing at the very tips of some nails, not a chip in sight!!! I think only the weather will stop me rushing out at lunchtime to buy in bulk while it's on offer!

Off to look at my sig for Feb - failed miserably on the NSDs for Jan so might be a bit less ambitious with that one...

Started snowing quite fast now, can barely see the houses across the road with it all. Thinking about moving to the other desk so I can gawp out the window for the rest of the day.

The Barry Manilow nail varnish is the best I think, even compaired to my mums £10 a pot pro stuff it lasts much longer. Although I now have Copacabana in my head.

Going for my first NSD of the month. I had to buy OH's mother a birthday present (Got her SJP Covet perfume) so that was yesterday scrapped.

Ohhh, I'm jealous! Middlesbrough actually looks quite lovely under a white banket but I'm in an internal office (former store cupboard) with no windows I'm going to go for 7 NSDs this month as I only managed 3 in January, but spent a bit yesterday and will do today too. I'm going to attempt a risotto from my new cook book tonight so need the ingredients for that, also might have a go at your brownies tomorrow so will get in what I need for them too.

Bircotes is looking quite lovely under a sheet of white as well, I'm sure we've got 1 - 2 cm.

Ooh, let me know how they turn out if you do them! I'm going to put them to the test and take some across to OHs house next time I go. Decided to woo them with my baking skills next. Good luck with the risotto!

Thanks, I'll be needing it!! Good idea with the wooing, I make some cakes every now and then for OH and if he leaves them in the kitchen they all disappear, which I take as a compliment

Oh my goodness we have got 12cm!!! The park is amazing and there are children everywhere. I've never seen snow like this before.

We had a small snowball fight this morning, but OH had to go to work, and I have a days work to do at home.

Ohh, Lucky! Never had that amount of snow before.

I've sent cupcakes over once of twice, and when I went to housesit one weekend with OH I got asked to do some baking by his little sister. It's about the biggest compliment having your baking liked, i think!

Has anyone tried any of the new walkers crisps? With the builders breakfast, squirrel and chilli chocolate flavours. Quite glad I've started my healthy eating as i'd be 'testing' them all. alot.

I don't like Walkers, I always find them to be full of green bits and bad bits and burnt bits.

Did you say you were in London Lara? My friend has just emailed from Central London to say she's snowed in - not fair - I'm supposed to be in the Frozen North here, how come I have to go to work??

We dont even have one flake of snow here in devon!! Not fair!! Then again i wont be leaving the house anyway as i am still not feeling well. Still jealous though, nothing like a snowball fight to cheer you up!!

There is a poor dog behind our office's tied up in this weather, but because they have a kennel for it not much we can do! Just hoping the kennel is fur lined and the pooch gets inside it soon!
