Oh Tete - Helvellyn looks so nice, I just searched it on flickr. (Sorry I am a Northern Irish one living in London so I don't know anything about the lovely parts of England, except the South West where OH is from).

Dinah, how are you today - feeling any better?

I am saving up for a house deposit too. ATM we have enough between us for about 7% deposit. But it seems we need more like 20% to get a mortgage, especially as I am pt and OH is a freelancer. Still, it just takes a bit of time. Dinah you will have it all earned in a year I think!!!

So I went to see my old boss and took him up on his offer. I start back in my old job in mid-March. It's funny the way things go, I reckon. Today I am helping OH with some of his work which will pay me a little bit.

Have a great day, ladies x

Yey, grats on the job Lara, very happy for you!

Feeling a bit better aye, the steroid tablets seem to have been more hinderance than help!

I figure I can save a decent house deposit if I live at home another year or two, if I achieve my 20k target this year should have around 15k in savings by the end of the year.

Tete - welcome to my life! :D Have fun!

Well done on the job, Lara. Very please for you!

I'm feeling much better thanks, Dinah. Nothing a few early nights couldn't sort out. I have just noticed martins money tip to bag free flights though over there >>> Any good for you going to see your OH?

was meant to come home, get straight on STP before neighbours (I have some horrible TV tastes) went to shot as gilmore girls was on...

Edit: Slice the pie media player is playing up for me now, shame as I was getting some really good punk bands. Off to dooyoo I go!

Well to be honest the parcel wrapping isn't really going anywhere, got a bit caught up in my book! 2 hours and about 150 pages later I'm only an hour from the end, seems a shame to stop now really, I'll write a Dooyoo reciew of it to make myself feel it was a productive afternoon well spent!

Well, I made another £169.54 tonight. A staggering £47 was from one item, one of the new tagged 5 euro Monsoon dresses I picked up last time I was in Ireland. However on the down side paypal have put restrictions on my account while they investigate me for money laundering! Apparently it's because I've hd over £1,200 through in the last year. Not my fault lots of people buy my glorioius cast offs! But then again I did log on tonight, expecting to see £230 or so in there, and there is £468..... finally managed to add a bank account too, but I still can't withdraw it because of these stupid monthly limits!

Woo hoo that was some seriously savvy shopping in Ireland - well done!

Thanks for introducing me to dooyoo, and the book review section. I have been loving it today and wrote my first two reviews. Gosh people really read your reviews! Haha don't know what I was expecting really, but it's quite a strange feeling.

I'll have to look you all up tomorrow. x

I know, they can be quite critical over the first few reviews too, I think they like scaring off newbies! My username on there is the same as on here. I had a 3 hour nap this evening, so think I might do some Dooyoo in half an hour or so, review the book I finished today. Just wrapped 25 parcels too.

I see you've added your uni fees as a target to your sig Lara, have you decided exactly which course to do?

You have more in your paypal account than I have altogether!

Well done on last night, you did so well! I bet you'll be hovering around the £3000 mark in no time. (Yep, I went there. I used the happy beer face! But I will retain it again until you're debt free, heck I'll even throw in a Mr Clappy hands.)

Hey nice to see your pics Dinah and Cinny. Going to try your cookies. Are you on dooyoo Tete?

Going to apply for a couple of phds (eek) and see if I get in, not too sure that I will, but going to try to save up the fees amount anyway. I'm a bit of a geek, so I'm interested in technology stuff, and my subject area is sociology.

    Have a good day x
