Lol good for your mum! Mne will be pleased today too, one of my brothers books I put on Amazon just sold which will make her £5 or so.
I'm in a bit of a sour mood today, so far I've wrapped 15 parcels and I want to be at work and doing something, but logged on my bank and I've just got £34.78 from Amazon and £61 from MS gone in this afternoon, as well as my £10 bingo money, so feeling a bit more positive. Also brings me almost bang on for the £10 a day challenge for Jan so far, and thats without any of my STP or ebay.
Wow! Are you going to be able to keep it up in Feb?!
Haha, yes good for your Mum Cinny!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Well, I don't think my paypal will get to my bank account until Feb, so at this rate I will beat the £10 a day challenge by about the 3rd!
Feels good to know I will be under 4k by the end of the month.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

She seems pretty chuffed with it, makes me want to join even more now!
I got an odd email today, from btinternet saying they want £1.50 off me a month to keep my email address. My brother got one too. Saying because we no longer have an account with btinternet and haven't logged on for over 90 days with it (we've had sky internet for over a year now) they'll be deleted.
Couldn't you play the sick card and ask someone else to do a few parcels for you?0 -
Re supersize v superskinny, such a good programme but (and this is probably very cruel) the bit I couldn't work out was how the overweight woman who had such a dark tan achieved it...
reinforced/giant tanning bed?
litres of fake tan?
I couldn't work it out...0 -
Lol I hadn't even considered that side of the scary tan!
Sick card is already used to full effect to get people to post them for me, don't think I can push it any further!
Tell BT to shove it Cinny, and get a free gmail or hotmail account.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

haha, me and my family were thinking the same thing!
Me and my brother don't know if it was a hoax or not, for this to come out of the blue over a year since we changed out internet server. I'm going to set up a yahoo account just incase, only problem is that email address is connected to my abbey account and until it's properly opened, i can't do a thing about it.
*edit* just checked my other btinternet account and i haven't got a single email about 'payment' in it at all.0 -
Lol at teacake!!! Sounds like a great episode.
Cinny - glad to hear I am not the only one partial to a curly wurly or two.
Dinah your ebay stuff is going so well - I can't believe you'll be sub 4k at the end of the month. W00t! We should craft / knit you an MSE award for when your debt is gone, and you'll have to make a speech.
I am going back to see my old boss tomorrow, pretty sure I'm going to accept his offer, if it's still on the table. Went to a postgraduate study fair today to see what my options are. My subject area is sociology and I would like to do a phd (eek). I'm a bit hesitant about going back but I do love it and I would *love* to work at a Uni at the end of it all.
Anyway I haven't had any interviews for any full time jobs - perhaps part time work and part time study is a good thing to do until the economy picks up. By then I should have a bit more experience in research, which doesn't hurt.
Fingers crossed we all keep our good jobs and good luck to you Cinny with all your applications!

Good luck with tomorrow, hopefully the offer will still be there for you!
Off to do some new knitting and watch the bill, i have no shame. Have a good night everyone!0 -
Lol loving the sound of a knitted award!
Good luck for tomorrow Lara.
I've done so badly with the list today, done about half the parcels, but it's taken forever!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
