That's a pity, still you might be able to recall a few of the ideas in the book later on if you get a good set up going making the invites, people always like a bit of quirk!
Right, going to go and get a stack of books ready for RiSi then I'm heading for a nice bubble bath with my book, Have a good night!0 -
You too Cinny, glad you sound a bit chirpier.
I have grabbed the bull by the horns and ordered abour £40 worth of invitation making bits and bobs off ebay. Hopefully they'll arrive this week and I can start trialling a few out by the weekend. Bit scary though spending so much on bits of confetti and card!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Read another one of my craft books and there are loads of ideas there that I want to turn into cards, but think I need to physically go to the shop to get my samples of card and things for those rather than get them online. Once I know what I want I can buy online as it will be cheaper.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That's a good idea Dinah, and it's just reminded me I have 2 craft shops in my town that do classes so I'm going to go have a gander in the windows when I'm next in town!
Wont have time to join RiSi tonight, will do it tomorrow. They have a new series of supersized vs superskinny on again and I shamefully love that type of show0 -
Ooooh have to admit I love it too, will see if I can watch it online somewhere.
Boys have tripped off all the lights so am limited on what I can do by the dark!

It's shocking how much it can cost. I tried my hand at card making last year but it the end thought sod it, it's cheaper to buy them!! (That and I ran out or ideas). Sounds like your book is more for people planning their wedding than for someone looking for various ideas for other people's weddings. I have to confess, and I don't really like to tempt fate by thinking about it, but I've already decided what my wedding favours will be - these little origami boxes I've perfected, filled with Jelly Bellies. Though by the time I've folded about 5 I know I'll be sick to death of the damn things.
Looks like my all out ambush on RiSi has woked - got another swap tonight so that's 2 Emily Barr books for two rubbish chick lit off the front of magazines :T
Going for a little squizz on dooyoo then back to the job apps... enjoy the fatty-skinny programme everyone!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Lol the whole wedding thing still fills me with fear, if it's my wedding that is, I'm happy enough to plan for other people's weddings! I wouldn't buy a pack of premade invites for a wedding, would want them to be personal, hopefully other people will think the same!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
