That's what I was thinking when I heard it, work is getting so slow here and my Dad is constantly talking about laying people off. Things I just don't want to be hearing!
I'm sure your job will be fine, Dinah, they were wanting to send you to do some courses weren't they? I don't think they'd be wanting to do that to then lay you off. Is that why you've been worried about having time off work?

I was thinking etsy, rather than ebay. I've found some amazing wools on black sheep wool, can only pay by paypal on there so I'm going to try and work my balance up with STP to order some. Will have to dig out all my old pattern books.

They were talking about courses, but that was before the budget was released, now they're 12m short on what they need for this year, so there will be redundancies, we just don't know where yet.

Watching supersize vs superskinny on C4OD, episode 3 for some reason despite it not being aired yet, it's really putting me off my lunch!

    Fingers crossed for you then!

The one last night was horrible, the superskinny girl only looked about 12. It was surprising how good she looked after she'd put a stone on. I do love Anna Richardson's little segments though.

This one is two nurses, both of them make me feel sick to look at. The skinny one is blatently anorexic, she can't stand the 'dirty' feeling of food inside her, feels sick hearing chewing noises etc! Still can't work out why I can see episode 3 but not episode 1

Have they taken the overweight one to meet a more overweight lady who looked like a tanned leather bag? If so then that's the one that was on last night!

Yep it's the same one then! I think she'd heard that a tan is slimming....

She reminded me of a tea cake.

I think this series is better than lasts already, they seem to be using much better scare tactics than before.

She might take the tea cake one as a compliment, I often compair body builders to tea cakes. She might think I mean she's a nice muscle of a woman..

    *edit*

just got an excited phonecall from my mum, I showed her RiSi last night and she's swapped her first book, never heard her so pleased!

Lol good for your mum! Mne will be pleased today too, one of my brothers books I put on Amazon just sold which will make her £5 or so.

I'm in a bit of a sour mood today, so far I've wrapped 15 parcels and I want to be at work and doing something, but logged on my bank and I've just got £34.78 from Amazon and £61 from MS gone in this afternoon, as well as my £10 bingo money, so feeling a bit more positive. Also brings me almost bang on for the £10 a day challenge for Jan so far, and thats without any of my STP or ebay.
