Yey what was your ebay item Cinny? Did it go for much. My Monsoon dresses are totalling £48 now, £2 more and I will be even on what I paid for them, and 4 don't even have bids on yet. One is at £19.99 and still 8 days to go!
Fingers crossed for your interview tomorrow Lara. OH's hunt doesn't seem to be going well, 30 applications a day and not even a single call back yet.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yep that's the plan Tete! The woman in the travel agent asked what I wanted from a holiday: Hot, clean hotel, not in Europe, around £450 for two weeks sometime in March. She said I was easy to please.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I am watching this too, my OH thinks im very strange as i love watching programmes like this (even if they do make me feel slightly ill at the same time). If its morally wrong, then we can be morally wrong together!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
And the worst part is I've just polished off a bag of Jelly Bellies whilst doing so! They say you are what you eat, so better force myself to my pilates class tomorrow (I'm easing myself into 2009!)
Great news about your dresses Dinah, you'd be sick as a pig if they didn't sell after buying them specially! I once did this with some vintage shoes that were about 4 sizes too small for me, only made about £1 profit so would be wary of doing it again. Are you booked up then for Egypt? We're looking at Corsica, don't know if I mentioned. We don't know anything about the place though, just fancied it!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Don't think I did bad overall. Also reorganised some of my room looking for a book, my bookcase is no longer perilous. Although my unread book 'shelf' is now almost an entire case, that's not counting the ones in the shed, and if I read 2 a week I would still have enough books there to last nearly 2 years! Going to have a bit of an early one and see if I can finish The Testament of Gideon Mack, OH wants to borrow it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

It only went for 99p but heck, it's better than nothing! It was just blythe purse I got afew years ago that I found - I actually have about 5 of them so I'll put some more on later. Good going with the dresses! I'm sure you'll do better than breaking even.
My 'to read' stack is looking pretty bad at the moment, I've got 5! 3 are chick lit OH got me for christmas, Pippi Longstocking (to re-read, love that book!) and then Gary Barlows book
Good luck with finding your holiday! You can normally get some really good late deals in travel agents. I haven't been anywhere hot since I was 11, but saying that I prefer staying in England because I'm dull. France and Holland at a stretch!0 -

That sounds like me LOL! I was packing my books last night and I've got 3 boxes of books that I haven't even read! I already got rid of all the books I've read and don't want to keep, there were about 30-40 of them, and that's after having regular clearouts! My OH doesn't really understand how many books I have, think he's in for a shock when I unpack them! Saying that, he reads a lot too so we'll be fighting for space on the bookshelf!
I'm hoping that he'll see how many books I've got and go out and buy me a sony e-reader to replace them all!;)Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

I've been eyeing up that card for you DS with all the classics on it, I'm so tempted! (£17.99 for 100 books!) part of me would love it but the other likes the smell of books too much.
Sorry if you said and I forgot, how long is it until you move in with your OH?0 -
my OH has hundereds of books that she has read but will not part with them in the hope of reading them again!!£27.76/£2018 in 20180

I don't like the idea of those computer-book things, I like the smell and the pages and having a big, bulging bookshelf so everyone can see how well-read I am
My OH only likes fact-based type books that he can learn something from, the geek, whereas I like to get lost in a story.
Speaking of moving in, we were talking last night and he said that if I get this job he'll move to Newcastle with me. I won't get it like, but still it was nice to hear!
How you feeling today Dinah? Are you back at work?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
