I love the smell of the librarys in national trust houses, and this one bookshop in my town that smells all homely and book-y mixed with coffee. It's heaven!

It's just the thought of 100 classics for that price, would be great if they were proper books! I'll have to make do with £2 penguin classics. Pass us abit of Dorian Gray.

I know what you mean, it does seem a bargain, but I can't imagine reading a whole book on that little DS screen.

I have abit of a soft spot for him, mainly because he looks like Stephen Fry (or Stephen Fry looks like him?!)

Hm, I think I could manage it. I managed to watch Northanger Abbey on my iPod on a coach to France last year and I thought that would send me wappy the screen being so tiny!

Thanks Dinah, he went back on the 2nd _pale_ and Im not sure when he's back yet, its either the end of January of end of february

But then he's home for a while (at the weekends at least) until the autumn when he's off to afganistan _pale_

Its been hard these last few weeks as I've just taken in a lodger and his girlfriend is over a lot, she's lovely but it makes it a little harder somehow...

My cousin has just come back from Afganistan, I was constantly worried whenever I heard 'breaking news' on the radio. Fingers crossed your OH will be completely fine when he goes, and other fingers crossed he's back at the end of January not Febuary.


Abit ofa question, a parcel has turned up for a company that worked alongside Shaws but they closed years ago. The parcel has no return address, and was sent out yesterday. What the heck am I meant to do with it? Can't find anything on the RM website as yet.

Been having a word with OH (over microsoft outlook!) and I don't think I'm getting him a laptop anymore. He's being hunter gatherer (kind of) and wants to save up and buy one himself. Fair do's! But I need to think of something else now!

That's a pain about your OH, men are so hard to buy for I think! My OH was most pleased with the fairy cakes I made him one birthday and I'm not even a very good baker!

Bless him!! Out of all the presents I got him for christmas he was most chuffed with a new mug! Typical men. Although it is nice when they're so pleased with the little things you do.

That's a shame about the laptop Cinny. What about getting him a Wii or something electrical like a good digital camera, iPhone, iPod or bringing him away for the weekend?
