  • I've just had a delivery via Boilerjuice. Last Thursday I got quotes at around 49/50 per litre +vat. Then Boilerjuice had a buying weekend and I ended up with a price of 43.26+vat, so saved around £30  .

The price on Boilerjuice today is 47.74 so hopefully it is going the right way!
  • Price this morning is 40.72p per litre in my area!!!! is it going to hit 39p soon? I hope so

goodness, where do you live. My boilerjuice price hasn't changed all week, still showing as 50.99 for 1000 litres. Peak District.

  • I live near Doncaster, it had gone up a little yesterday to 43p per litre (for 1000 litres) but has dropped this morning, I last bought 1000 litres in May an it was 58p per litre then, trouble is there is still 600 litres in the tank and it's a 1500l tank so I need to use a bit more before I can get my order in!

Hi, well we are still hanging on, about three inches left in tank and ours is only an 11 hundred litre tank. Below nine hundred they want more money.
We have been told, but do not know if this is correct, that the oil will be very much cheaper in January, but we cannot wait that long!!

That is probably because theyknow everyone will buy in for Christmas!!

  • Just bought 1000 litres at 39.7 per litre exc VAT. OPEC are talking about cutting production to try to force the price back up, so I thought I would jump in now.

If the price does drop further, I can still cram another 1000 litres in as and when.

That was the good news - the bad news is that BG have just put up my Click 5 electricity tariff by 21% completely negating my saving on the oil from when it was 64p/litre:mad:

    $66.82 a barrel as I write. That's 20% lower than 12 months ago!

The stuff we're forced to buy is clearly made from something different!!!

    I bought 500 litres at 49p + vat 2 weeks ago.
Tempted to buy another 500 at lower price (not that I've checked with my supplier, but it must be lower)

Wish I'd waited now, but how can we possibly know whether it will go up or down

Its' hard to know what it's going to do. The trend seem to be down at the moment and dropping like a stone. But I said that when I startwed the post. Check out the trend graph and looik at the movements. I bought when it dipped in Sept thinking that it was going back up due to hurricaines etc, and it did before plummetting to real lows. But I never thought it was going to drop like this. I want diesel to fall too
NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!
  • OMG, just checked on Boilerjuice this morning and its 38.99 per litre!!!! do I buy buy buy now????? or wait another day or so????
