Elliot's off to have his first set of jabs today-wish us luck! I hope he doesn't cry too much, it already breaks my heart seeing him upset. xx
You will both be fine!.
Poppy had some jabs last week and I was dreading it as she is so more alert now - you should have seen the look she gave the nurse! :rotfl:. But she waved to her on the way out so all must have been forgiven!. One last lot next month and then thats it until pre-school apparently :T (but then the cycle will start again with the new baby!).

Alex always wears a vest too (well maybe not in July LOL) - the west coast of Scotland is not the warmest place in the world!
I'm afraid I am one of those people who wraps up their kids really warm(that's my Scandinavian background working!). It makes me cringe when I see little schoolgirls in just tiny skirts and socks - it's like, put some tights on them - you don't see the mums with bare legs in November!!!
Speaking of tights, I can't remember who it was on this thread that suggested tights for boys, but thank you! :T I've bought some navy tights for Alex and they're a lifesaver - no socks to take off, and they keep him cosy for the long walks! :T
Even DS1, who's 5, said he wants tights this morning...:rotfl:
SB - just noticed, only a month to go, how exciting! :j :T0 -

Hi everyone
Sicky times for us this week - the "bug" has worked it's way through the household gradually and now ds1 is off school so as not to pass it on....Lucky mummy gets to wash bedding again today lol.
Re vests - Archie always wears a vest even most of the summer - I think they feel cosy so I always put one on him.
Dormouse - can you tell me where you bought those tights for ds I've been looking for LO but so far haven't found any small enough that aren't pink.
Mazcabs - know how you feel Archie has started waking up at 5am which feels like the middle of the night to me <<yawn>> glad your LO is getting better.MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0 -

Elliot wasn't impressed at all today, the poor thing screamed in a way id never heard him do before-i felt like crying with him (i know i need to toughen up a bit). ive told my husband to go for the next lot, i felt so guilty on the way home. He's had some of the pink paracetamol stuff off the docs and seems a bit calmer.
Me-ive turned to chocolate...not good.
