I'm disgusted at the mother of Baby P and very upset by it. I can't believe that anyone would do or allow to happen all the horrific injuries that poor baby suffered. They both need to be looked away for life and sterilised. Some people do not deserve to have any children at all.

I felt totally sick and disgusted when i heard about this on the news, i felt so upset thinking about that poor child  I cant believe there are people like this out there.

Elliot's off to have his first set of jabs today-wish us luck! I hope he doesn't cry too much, it already breaks my heart seeing him upset. xx

    Hi guys,
I'm new to this thread. Sam was born 6 weeks early, he is 3 weeks old today. We had a sleepless night last night as he has colic, i started him on coleif last night. Does anyone know how long it takes to have affect? I am breastfeeding, has anyone got any tips?
    Thanks xx

Hi ya, i've been using infacol for elliot's colic which you give before a feed. It's been working really well, but haven't tried coleif so cant say about that i'm afraid. Hope you get a better nights sleep tonight :o

Good luck Keelykat, have that Calpol ready just in case!!

Well DS is nearly back to normal today temp wise and eating but we had crap nights sleep. Went down at 8.30 quite happily then awake 11, 12, 1 and at 2 I was playing with toys downstairs... then the cheeky thing wants to sleep this morning and is tired... must be because he's a boy!!! I'm dreading the MMR jabs in a months time.

Need to start looking for a forward facing seat now... any favourites?

Alice is wearing a short sleeved T-shirt, long sleeved T-shirt and a dress these days (plus Babylegs) which in effect is the same as me because I'm wearing vest, long sleeved top, thin cardigain, skirt and long socks. My friends children are all wearing jumpers and cardigains and usually have vests on them under their clothes even in the middle of summer but I usually just go on a combination of how much I am wearing and how warm/cold Alice feels. I think people used to bundle children up a lot more so that may be why your mum is bothered about a vest.

We went for the MaxiCosi Priori because it was the best one at the time according to Which. They usually have either a free or a cheap thirty day trial (I think it cost us £1) so it's worth joining temporarily to check out the latest information.

  • Ds almost always wears a poppered vest and one layer over it - heat waves excepted!

I forgot to say - the reason babies used to be bundled up more is because people didn't have central heating so much.
