Hey Weezl - I don't think Imogen wore anything other than babygrows for the first 3 months other than for special occasions. It just didn't seem right (and took way more time than a 1-piece!)
I was quite selective about what i packed away at the start. That has slipped somewhat in 2 years, but I tried only to keep stuff I knew I'd use with another baby. Anything else got sent to Ebay or the charity shop. We currently have about 6 of those vaccuum-pack bags of clothes - and I'm sure this is a boy so they'll be useless!
LB - glad the weaning is going well.
We've just had our 4th dry night - hurrah! The potty in her room is working as she gets up and does a wee herself when she wakes (between 6.30 and 7.30) and them comes in to tell us! Next stage is a step for the loo so she can manage that on her own and then we'll remove the potty. Am so proud of her.
Right, off to do some work again. Am working from home for my last working day this week and taking it easy. My shingles rash is driving me insane and is getting bigger, not smaller. Humph!MSE Parent Club Member #1Yummy slummy mummy club member50% slummy, 50% mummy, 100% proudImogen born Boxing Day 2006Alex born 13 July 20090 -
yay hello weezl, you've been hiding! :hello:
i love little tiny grown up clothes so seth wears them all the time, but if we're just staying in i just put him in babygrows. what i hate is bl00dy t shirts, he gets through 3 or 4 a day and always pukes over the shoulder with the poppers or buttons on  but he has worn pretty much everything in 0-3 and had a fairly decent wear out of it. in 3-6 sleepsuits now but they are rather baggy, better that than tight though! dungarees on a newborn are pointless and evil, soooooooooo hard to get on!
we've got loads of things in 3-6 that he will never wear, people gave us coats and snowsuitsfor the majority of the wearing of 3-6 he will be doing he will be in a vest and shorts, did anyone give us those? did attempt to swap some things but they had gone into the january sales so either wasnt allowed or not much of a value so will be ebaying them closer to winter to get more for them

I used infacol for Aimee but didn't find it helped really... But gripe water really made a difference... I used to just pour some into the cap and into her mouth and you could see her relaxing as it went down...
Lu, feel for you with the shingles.. I had it in the middle of my forehead when I was about 20... It was not comfortable and it left scars!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Well done Immogen. :T:T:T
Izzy was trying to hep me with the breast pump this morning while she was feeding on the other side - might have to start using formula to mix with her food if she continues with that!
Now I'm just waiting for nap time, so I can have one too - 5 hours sleep are NOT enough for me!

great link! I love stories like that, they put my mundane little gripes and worries right back into perspective!
Thanks for the thoughts on clothes emlou and Lu T, I'm glad you struggle with these other outfits too...
Emlou just being nosey, but what kind of special occasions does seth wear his big boy outfits to? I'm a bit jealous as we only go for walks or to tesco! How're you guys doing anyway? Is seth sleeping more in the nights? Is DH being well behaved
Kristaltips, I really echo what you've said, infacol didn't help Fergie at all, so it was a relief to get to 4 weeks and start on gripe water.
We also gave colief a go, but it's blimmin expensive and very faffy to remember to add it the right number of hours before the next feed, especially when it's the middle of the night! Me and DH have put a blackboard and chalks in our upstairs laundry room, so we can write each other messages about the last feed.... Things like 'F ate 120 ml at 4 am' one morning all it said on the blackboard was 'colief- relief for baby-strife for Daddy' and no prepared feed ready for me, bless him! So we just went back to gripe water
I had a lookie at these bumbos you're all keen on, ermm.... being a bit thick but can't see the benefit over a recliny rocker chair with straps. But people really rate them, what's the benefit?
Hope you're all having a good day.
Love Weezl x

We have used Colief with Jamie from when he was a few weeks old and its absolutely fabulous! He is being weened off it now and only has 1 drop instead of 4. We also found that Dr Brown bottles really helped too. Its £10 to buy but my Dr has put 2 bottles on repeat prescription for 6 months so we can get it as and when needed.

Hi Weezl, we love Bumbo! Jamie can sit upright in it and I guess its a change of scenery for him too. We also take it with us when visiting friends so he can join in the fun with the other children! He's actually using Poppy's pink one and I'm hoping he doesn't mind too much lol.
How are you and Fergie?

Hi SB
We're good thanks:A, Fergie's managed 7 consecutive nights of not needing his 2.30 am feed, so just the 10.30 one and then up at 6 ready for another feed at 6.30! So that's pretty marvelous. Dh says he's lulling us into security so he can have a baby brother, and then all hell will break loose
So, with the bumbo Jamie can be more upright and therefore join in, whereas in a rocker his main view is of the ceiling? I think I get it a bit more now... excuse my addled brain
