    :D It's nice to dream MFD:D

Strange thing though, ds2 is sat playing with him and trying to entertain him.....considering he has only actually said hello to him once and usually looks at him like he is some kind of invading alien:rolleyes: Although this is the exact reason we went out and bought toys, in the hope that the boys would want to play with the toys too...but would have to play with Kai aswell in order to be 'allowed' to play with them - tricksy mummy:rotfl:

Off to watch a film now, will catch ya later:)

Feelie - are you using infacol or anything similar? My HV advised me to use 2 droppers of infacol per feed and it seemed to ease Benjamin a little.

I've got a bottle of Infacol, and something similar, but can't decide which one to use. One has a really artificial orange flavour and sweetener, and the other has Sucrose. What is the better thing for a baby to have?

(Another thing I really didn't want to use - things like Infacol and Calpol. Grr @ me!)

I'd always pick sucrose as a bit of sugar doesn't do to much harm - but I hate artificial sweetners and try and avoid them if poss.

Just done my first "down awake" bedtime for LO using Oh's instructions on how he does it when booby is not around (lots of shushing) and am now sat halfway down the stairs having waited half an hour for him to fall asleep - not too bad a result :D.

Bit sad that my magic sleepy juice is starting to fail me but I guess nothing lasts for ever...maybe I can drop the night night feeds now and go out more often :j.

Just catching up and giggling at the images of mums & babies playing with poo and trying to lick their elbows! Plus em's OH and his milk - silly boy!

Welcome Moira, go with your instincts. If you start weaning and it doesn't go well then just leave it for a while. If you want to start, have a go and see what bubs thinks. No harm done either way.

Going back a few steps to manners, we are currently fighting to get full sentences out of Imogen. She is more than capable of having a full conversation, making up stories and reciting nursery rhymes, but seems to resort to being some kind of Kevin the teenager which results in coversations that go:
    "Want that,"
"I don't know what 'that' is. What is it you want and what do you want to do with it?"
(Thrusts book in my hand) "Want that,"
"Well try, 'Mummy, please will you read this book for me?'"
    "Yes, want that,"
(Long pause & hard mummy stare from me)
"Please mummy will you read this book for me?"
    "Of course darling,"

It gets a bit exhausting when you have to repeat it with just about every situation you can think of! Lazy little blighter knows full well how to ask for what she wants, just CBA. God help us when she's a teenager. 2? More like 12!

Right, off to watch CSI. We've abandoned Eurovision as 1) we're both sober and it's not as funny, 2) Terry Wogan's not taking the p1ss out of all of the entrants so it's not as funny.

    Night all!
