i've just sent a letter of complaint to benetton - theres a shop in my local town and its a kids and maternity wear shop - EVERY time i go i have difficulty getting through the door with my buggy because the door is really narrow and not automatic - but thats not my complaint which is that every time i go there are 2 or 3 sales people doing nothing (its never busy) and they NEVER come to my assitance - they never hold the door open either when im coming in or leaving and it really bugs me. the shop is small, its in a country town and its never busy - i get really cross when they basically stand back and watch me struggle to open the door and get the buggy out. so we'll see what i get back from them - probably nothing but i will pursue it!

I don't know how people manage shopping with pushchairs - I always knock things off the racks in clothes shops just walking around as they're all so close together.

MFD, have you tried the Darlaston Asda? They always have loads of the car seat trolleys free...

We have slings, so if we both go out sometimes we just use a sling. I can't carry changing bag, handbag and shopping with baby in a sling though, so if I'm on my own I'm there with stuff hanging off the buggy handles knocking things off shelves as I go.

The ones that bug me are where they have the childrens department upstairs with no lift. I know round here most of them are in listed buildings and can't put lifts and things in, but you would think they would plan these things a bit better! (mind you, it stops me spending money in them, which is no bad thing :rotfl:).

Caz - where down south is he looking at? It's all down south to you up there!

Bruno - Glad Elijah is feeling better, I also agree that it is most likely a viral rash...one of my boys got it EVERY time he had a high temp. But always best to check it out!

tsstss - Oh My God the Chicco is a dream to push.....it just glides, my other pushchair feels like a tank in comparison:p my only (small) gripe with it is the raincover, as it is one of those that fits on top of the hood, instead of covering over the whole hood iykwim:rolleyes: I really love it and it will definately last us till the end. Athough not as light to fold as a little stroller, it is definitely lighter and smaller than our old pushchair......which I am now going to list on ebay:D

Jabs....how did your babies have their jabs, was it two nurses one either side stabbing baby in the legs at the same time?? OR were the needles given one after the other seperately?

Aimee always had hers seperately, first one leg then the other... Both at the same time seems a little barabric to me!

One nurse with one needle at a time. I'm not looking forward to the next lot, 3 needles seperately i imagine.

    Hi everyone

just wondering if anybody has any 'foolproof' meal ideas for a slightly fussy 14 month old. I would love to know what you guys feed your little ones on a day to day basis. Thanks
    now mum of 4!!!
