:jSusan you're alive!! we we're getting worried!
Hope everything is ok in your household?
Sorry I didn't mean to worry anyone. I've just been very busy mainly because we're buying a house but also Alice had chicken pox a couple of weeks ago.
When I had my tonsils out, breastfeeding was such a normal 'unthinking' thing for me, I almost forgot to mention it... When I did the nurse on the ward told me I should of bought the baby in with me... Until I mentioned she was 2....
That's one of the reasons I'm waiting for Alice to wean before TTC#2 - I can't see the hospital being that accomodating of breastfeeding if I get admitted for hyperemesis gravidarum.

Thanks krystal, its particularly a problem at night and I'm not aware of it til I wake up soaking wet!, Eloise isn't going that long between feeds even at night (about 4 hours) so I'm not quite sure why its so bad at the moment, hopefully it will settle down a bit this week.

Sorry to hear your news Bailey, hope your ok.

Well I went to the music toddler group ALL BY MYSELF today :j I very nearly chickened out as I hate going anywhere by myself but I got there and I was the only person there!!

We waited and waited but nobody else showed up so the two women did the class anyway especially for Natasha :D. Natasha got a banana and some milk at the end and I chatted to them while she ate it so quite good really.

Oh Im feeling brave after today......may just go swimming tomorrow........
 I love my gorgeous little girl

ooh exciting new house! Poor Alice did she cope ok with it?
I've been a bit of a recluse since Jan as it seamed 'the pox' was everywhere and I didn't want to risk it while pregnant. Shame as it means Chris will probably be affected by it worse once he does catch it:rolleyes:

    Blimey, that was four pages!

    Anyway:

Nakedness: never do it, I'd wear clothes in the bath if I could!

Poo: We still have exploding poo (Celia not me) but not so many leaks!

Sleep: Yeah, not so much of that from sproglina, but she is hungry as everytime she wakes she eats for half an hour. You get used to the lack of sleep eventually.

PND: Feelinggood, I had, well have pretty bad (it wouldn't let me say kick a$$!) pnd and was completely abandoned by the entire medical profession despite previous history and a spectacular Edinburgh test. I went to the doctor (eventually), and they got the ball rolling. If you've got a doctor you trust do pop and see them. I'll pm you see links that might help, but it'll be this evening as I need to pay attention to Herself now!

Is or did anyone not go back on contraception after having their baby?
I'm not sure if I will do or not :o
We have been talking and both want more children but are not sure wether to time it properly or just leave things to nature.
    I must be mad lol
Thing is I have a 5 year age gap and really dont want another big gap like that!

I'm sick of "bunny slide". It's a pink glittery hair slide with a pink Easter bunny on it, but Charlotte thinks it's the most wonderful thing ever. She cries when it has to come out at bedtime, then this morning I went in and said morning to her and the first thing she said "bunny slide in now". We have to spend all day every day admiring the bunny slide too. It's funny what they get really attached to.
Alice drives me mad with clips too - she takes them out and then gets upset when she can't find them and starts shouting, "Cip cip".

Becles - our current obsessions include a chirping chick she was bought for Easter and her cousin's Winnie the Pooh. He's causing much confusion as she keeps saying, "I want pooh," and we're never sure if she's just being lazy, missing out the "a" and needs the loo!
We have that problem too as Alice isn't talking in sentences yet.

Sorry if this is TMI but I am still bleeding...got my 6 week check tomorrow so will talk to the doctor but it is really starting to play on my mind. I keep thinking that they are going to send me to hospital...which I know is irrational but just typing it has me crying.
I couldn't say exactly how long mine was but it was definitely more than six weeks (round here the check is at 8 weeks and it was finished by then) although it wasn't a lot after the first 2 weeks - just enough to need a pant liner.
Back from my 6w postnatal check...
I opted for the mini-pill despite 'the government recommending the injection or the coil' so I have been given sezette (?)
Is it normal to be given that kind of advice at the six week check? Do they tell you how they work?

For whoever was asking about stopping night feeds, I used to wake Alice up about 2 or 3am for maybe the first two or three weeks and then after that I just waited for her to wake up. The time she woke up did vary quite a lot (I've probably got a graph in Excel somewhere) but gradually got later and later until she was sleeping through from the 10.30 feed which we then gradually brought forward to 10. The hardest bit was actually just before she started sleeping through as the feed would be too late to go back to sleep again before getting up. All babies are different though so the time they take to get to the stage of going that long will vary.
