God you lot can talk, just spent an hour trying to catch up and still 9 pages left to go, i give in. Just gonna have to miss the gossip.
Well sorry to keep you all waiting but I wanted to be sure before I spoke again, to avoid any more dramas. It seems that I was pregnant but not now and still bleeding. DH keeps banging on about PND and going back on my AD's, but i'm just waiting for hormones to settle back down and then see how I feel.
DH is glad it didn't work out and in some ways i am but not in others. I've since taken on a 10 hour week job 5-10 two nights a week and 2 sat mornings out of 6. We are hoping to fund our extension with that, as i'd love a downstairs toilet/shower before the kids are much bigger. We have the space to extend but not the money, i just don't know how people are doing it in our street. Its hard to go out to work at 4.50pm when all i want to do is stay home for my kids tea and crash at 7pm, but if I want the extension that's how it is.
I think i'm ok.0 -
How many poo's are babies suppose to do each day?? Ethan is 13 weeks old (today - so we sang happy 13th week Birthday before OH went to work) and he only does 1 a day.
Some poop 3 times a day some 3 times a week - as long as they aren't struggling to get it out and its the right consistency then its normal:D
Keely I think it took me about 3months to get a tooth pic  little monkeys!
MFD - Hope all goes well 2mo, have then given you a pessary - it does say that they aren't always effective if ur on ur period so I assume it would be the same for you.
I'm feeling for the babies who had thrush a while back coz I've got it toomy tongue looks mingy and is really sore! got to pick up a script for it when I've eaten my din dins - I'm fed up of taking medication at the moment!!! I've got an ear spray, gaviscon and lactulose to have everyday and now what ever I'll get for this *sigh*

Pleased to hear from you bailey. Sorry to hear your news. That must have sent your hormones etc., all over the place.
As well as the money, work has it's plus points. You can have a conversation about adult stuff rather than In The Night Garden, and you don't have to sing wheels on the bus repeatidly. You can also have a wee all by yourself too
Take care xxHere I go again on my own....0 -

Oh Bailey, sounds like you don't know what to think - that must have knocked you completely for 6. You take care of yourself! We have been mostly discussing nakedness. I think it was Caz that lowered the tone

Hi all,
A quick question about sleep...:o
Some of the things I've read suggest that you can start to drop a night feed at around the 5 week mark, with the aim of baby sleeping for 7-8 hrs by 6 weeks (baby whisperer) whilst others seem to be saying that 12 weeks is more normal. Seems quite a wide variation, and I wondered what you lot thought?
Emlou, MFD, and Redmel, you all had your babies at roughly the same time as me, how's your sleep going?;):D
Erm, yummy/slummy mummy? I think I've missed something! Feeling a bit flabby at the mo, so can I be 'tummy mummy' please!?
Love Weezl
but when your little man is ready for one feed less he will let you know, i've heard stories of how terrible it is when you try and cut out a feed lol!Mummy to

Just a question - does the liquid yellow poo last for the whole time a baby is b/fed?
She does a huge one every morning (she was a bit late today!), it comes with a very loud pump, and comes straight out the back/front/legs of her nappy depending on what position she's in.
I've had pampers and huggies - neither can contain it! Luckily today, i caught her as soon as she'd done it - so it was only a change of vest needed rather than a whole new outfit.
I'm having the exact same problem with Eloise, its not everyday that she does a poo but when she does its first thing, bright yellow/orange runny and goes all over escaping onto her vest irrespective of which kind of nappy (although I am finding huggies very slightly better)
Krystal if you are around, Ello is 8 weeks tomorrow and I'm still producing too much milk, leaking everywhere and nearly drowning Ello, how long til it settles a bit or is there anything I can do?MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
If your let down is quite fast, you can try feeding her with her a bit more upright rather than lying down.. Hard to describe, but so she's approaching the breast from underneath and her body dangles down... Or another way is if you lie back and have her on top of you when she feeds, although this one isn't particularly helpful when you're out and about!
Some good information and pics of positions here: http://www.kellymom.com/bf/supply/fast-letdown.html
For the leaking, as soon as you feel it happening, press the heel of your hand against your breast (or cross your arms, not quite as effective but not quite so obvious when you're in Asda...)
Can't really say how long until it settles down... Some people never leak.. Some people leak for a lot longer... Its one of those individual things...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
