Well done!! That seems to be quite easy (I mean length of time wise) Is he happy to have milk now?

Well, not happy as such but a bit more willing! He doesn't drink loads though... but then I'm not sure how much a 15 month old baby would be expected to drink. We did have several really sad sobbing sessions but he's even stopped that the last couple of days. I'm sure he'll soon forget about feeding from me at all which is a bit sad but then I don't still want to be doing it once he gets to school, lol - especially if I'm his teacher . (I am joking here - I know he's nowhere near school age!)

Right ladies... firstly calling anyone a Nazi isn't nice... end of. Ironic that this particular word should crop up today of all days being as it's Adolphs birthday...

Anywho... Can we all return to our respective corners and stop speculating about if others are discussing the Bf debate on facebook (fyi I've had a quick look and there is no "slagging off" going on there... in case anyone wondered).

As far as I can see (and I appreciate I am biased because I DO think breast is best) then Krystal has only tried to provide the information - she hasn't tried to guilt anyone into BF and I don't think anyone else has either... So can we please drop this now? If we can't have a grown up debate about BF/FF then I'll have to start getting stomping boots on and clamp down on it unless it's SPECIFICALLY going on about money saving - so one thread for FF and where to get it cheapest and one for BF and why it's so much cheaper than FF... And I honestly really don't want that...
I often disagree with loads of people on here - the pet forum is a prime example :) But even in the pregnancy thread I rarely have the same point of view as everyone else - however I try to put my point across without name calling and then more often than not I will simply agree to disagree.
There are people I don't get along with particularly well so if they post something I disagree with I usually just ignore it and let others answer it.

So... could we try for that please? :)

Otherwise I have to start closing threads and getting Abuse involved etc... (which I will state right now that if I see the nazi accusations flying again I WILL report the posters to Abuse!)

Everyone go have some chocolate and cake and tea and take a deep breath before posting again :)

    Please?

  • Darn, I never even thought of this. I try and fob Tom off onto someone else in the house while I go on the Wii Fit. Might have to try this - do you think you lose extra weight with the extra resistance??

(Lol, like who am I kidding - our Wii Fit hasn't been out of the box since January - but I am planning on getting it back out soon - that two stone won't lose itself!)

LOL - I got on it for the first time since I was term + 9 this morning and I have lost 2 stone 6!! So about another half a stone to go I think...

It gave me a lecture about losing weight so quickly and being 'worried' about me! Then when I got on to do the step with Benjamin it noticed that I was carrying some extra weight :rotfl:

Kept Benjamin quiet for a bit though and eventually sent him to sleep - better than the usual rocking/pacing!!

Everytime we took Tom out in his pram when he was younger he screamed and screamed and everyone I met would always say "Is he still crying?"QUOTE]

This tickled me as somebody said that when I first met you and I never beleived you!
 I love my gorgeous little girl
  • Oh my - I've missed all the excitment today. We've been out to see my Grandad today - it is a year after my Granny died, and so the plan was to distract him with a grinning baby :) Luckily, despite her grumpiness over the past few weeks, she was relatively cheerful today. Not completely her cheerful self, but loads better than yesterday.

We went out for a picnic at a nature reserve (she had a lovely sleep in the sing) and she watched me feed the ducks and geese. She also spent a very long time watching some dogs - she has seen dogs in the distance before, but I don't think she had looked at them properly. There were some people sat at the next bench with 2 scottie dogs, and she was fascinated. She's not getting a puppy though, not until she has moved out on her own ;)

All that fesh air was good for her, as she went off to bed no problems and was down by 7:30. Perfect :)

Tomorrow i have to stay in all day to take delivery of her matress, then she can start sleeping in the cot in her own room. I wait will baited breath to see what THAT does to our sleeping pattern. I'm hoping we all end up with a bit more sleep, as a) she should be more comfy with a bit more space and b) we all wake each other up - I think at least some of the time when she stirs in her sleep she would go back to sleep on her own if I didn't pick her up.

Feeling - I'm so glad he is getting better - I second trying to feed on your side if you've not tried it yet. We still do that sometimes. I find it especially useful when I'm trying to get her off for a nap. She normally naps on our bed, so I can just lie down next to her, and sit up when she drops off (or roll over and drop off myself ;) ) Oh and lansinoh nipple cream is fabulous stuff. You can get it on prescription to get it free too.

Lol, isn't it awful when you get patronised by a Wii Fit board?
