Oohh I've eaten too much choccy over easter, but i'm sure i could fit some more in! :) I can't use the excuse of buying them for elliot either as he's too little! I'll be honest i'm a chocoholic. xx
Mommy to Elliot (5) and Lewis (born xmas eve 11!)
  • I am not on the MSE facebook group, if that's what you're referring to.

I didn't have PND. I am saying that happy baby = happy mum is crap.

What do you mean not good enough for me? Don't you get it? I don't care how babies get here as long as they and their mothers are safe (and hopefully that the mothers are happy about it - whatever the method!) I don't care how babies are fed as long as their mothers are happy about it. Our children are the same age, shouldn't we be trying to get along? Why are you trying to compete with me?

well then we are probably both getting talked about :D
i dont know you know... surely a happy baby does make for a happy mum? i know i havent been a happy bunny on days when my babies have screamed the house down from breakfast til bed....

i too dont care how babies are delivered as long as they arrive healthy, and i couldnt care less how any of you feed your children, but i still have the right to speak up when im confronted with scaremongering which im sorry is exactly what those articles were, they were practically breastfeeding propaganda
im not in competetion with anyone, i dont claim to know more than any of you and i dont claim that my kids are better than yours, and my dad cant beat up your dad....
i have come up against some BFing fanatics who really would tell you that its BF or your poisoning your child, and sorry if none of you like it but there should always be a voice speaking up for the other side

seth has been a absolute nightmare today, i'm so glad OH has been off and able to help. he's gone from being lovely until you put him down for a second to constantly screaming since about midday, hasnt even slept at all which is unheard of! he is now quiet but still wide awake laying on OH, i'm hoping this means he will sleep well cos he is exhausted, thats the plan anyway... i just did an emergency dash to tesco for some aptamil, he's been on cow and gate since birth but i thought it might be making him a bit constipated as he was only pooping once a day, so yesterday afternoon we started on hipp organic. i thought if it was organic it must be ok but its the only thing i can blame the screaming on, it is SO unlike him!

  • CG - I am on Facebook and it has been noted that there is a Breastfeeding debate going on in here (Krystal and I have spoken about the fact that we have different opinions) but there is no slagging off that I can see...although I am not linked to ('friends with') everybody.

I really wish I hadn't asked the question now...

Feelie - I hope you are doing okay lovely.

And to anyone who has been upset by the whole breastfeeding stuff I am truly sorry.

When Benjamin doesn't sleep at the 'right time' (like I have a proper routine lol) then he is a nightmare and struggles to sleep at all...he gets that wide-eyed stare and everything is a battle.

I have managed to sing/cuddle/rock/talk him to sleep 3 timess today though which I am chuffed with (he has been feeding to sleep) - well I say cuddle...I was holding him whilst I was doing step-aerobics on the wii fit :T

This mummy stuff is tough isn't it!

its perfectly normal for a FFed baby to poop once a day ;) provided his poop isn't hard/dry like marbles and he doesn't seam to be in pain when 'going'
What will cause him some upset is changing milks they are all different and usually takes anything from 2 days to a week for them to 'get used to' a new formula even if its made by the same company it can upset them a bit - damn babies are highly strung aren't they :p

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Oh, and BTW, we did manage to stop the daytime feeds so thanks to the people who gave advice. Night-time might take a little longer, but that's cos I'm a lazy mare who would rather do a quick feed and get back to sleep than endure a screaming baby for hours on end!

Well done!! That seems to be quite easy (I mean length of time wise) Is he happy to have milk now?
 I love my gorgeous little girl

Darn, I never even thought of this. I try and fob Tom off onto someone else in the house while I go on the Wii Fit. Might have to try this - do you think you lose extra weight with the extra resistance??

(Lol, like who am I kidding - our Wii Fit hasn't been out of the box since January - but I am planning on getting it back out soon - that two stone won't lose itself!)

You asked because you wanted to know, you shouldn't be sorry for it...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

FELLIE I seconD what someone else said try lying down that is about the only way I fed for the 1st week it is very relaxing for you and for baby, just watch A. you don't fall asleep and B. that LO doesn't fall asleep too quickly without taking enough of a feed.

We had a busy day today went to the farm then down to the beach as it was such a lovely day so little monster missed her am sleep so slept from 3-5pm, thenwent to bed at 7.30 but was still awake chating/singing to herself at 8.30 but is now soundo!!!
