its perfectly normal for a FFed baby to poop once a day ;) provided his poop isn't hard/dry like marbles and he doesn't seam to be in pain when 'going'
What will cause him some upset is changing milks they are all different and usually takes anything from 2 days to a week for them to 'get used to' a new formula even if its made by the same company it can upset them a bit - damn babies are highly strung aren't they :p
it isnt hard or anything, it is of a paste consistency lol :rotfl: but the moans and groans of effort and the tomato coloured face that go along with each poop are really quite special!!

MFD, the battle with the wide eyed overtired stare is about to begin  we're going all out with a soak in a nice relaxing bath and his sleeping bag is in the tumble drier so it will be nice and warm for when it goes on!! i think OH is going to get me a wii fit, he keeps telling me that he is saving for a big present for me and he keeps pointing out that louise advert where she says she hadnt exercised for a year like most pregnant women and asks if it counts if you havent exercised for a lifetime  cheeky get!!

I did it! :j Two children at bedtime on my own but only due to my Mum bathing and PJing them both before returning them home! :o

    xx
I was gonna say when OH is away i tend to visit my mummy for tea and get Chris bathed, PJed and milk then he falls asleep in the car ride home :D

anyone got any links to how to feed lying down? I never tried/got shown how to do that one with Chris so maybe worth a go with this one if I have the same trouble -fingers crossed I'll get a baby that loves to breast feed this time but I won't hold my breath

  • Last time I went on a Wii Fit was when I was about 7 months pregnant, exhausted and with SPD... it told me I was 80! Which wasn't anywhere near as old as I felt at the time ;)

I want one too... my birthday is on the 5th June and DH is on the 15th, so we might ask for one as a joint present I think. Like we need any more computers in this house (1 pc, 2 laptops, 1 ps3, 1 psp, 1 ds... plus at least 1 psone, 1 game boy advance and I think a ps2 and enough cases and bits to build about 5 more pcs all stored away in the garage!!!)

Lol, isn't it awful when you get patronised by a Wii Fit board?

Mine was doing that before I got pregnant though... smarmy thing... it's if you don't do all the work out things it starts with the "well I'm not doing this on my own you know!"...

Think mine's only been used for Raving Rabbids since falling pregnant... I do love steering the wilderbeast down the slopes - it's hillarious! :D

Sami, Some written instructions here... They're for feeding after a cs but apply any time.. Will update if I can find anything with pictures ;)

Bah, found a lovely slideshow but the written description is appalling! Scruffys pic (next page) is beautiful though!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Well, not happy as such but a bit more willing! He doesn't drink loads though... but then I'm not sure how much a 15 month old baby would be expected to drink. We did have several really sad sobbing sessions but he's even stopped that the last couple of days. I'm sure he'll soon forget about feeding from me at all which is a bit sad but then I don't still want to be doing it once he gets to school, lol - especially if I'm his teacher . (I am joking here - I know he's nowhere near school age!)

I think around about a pint of formula but cows milk may be different? and to be honest im just going off what the box said. Tasha has 700/800ml a day still but she has always been able to manage to squish her milk in even if she has asked for double meal and dessert.....

I bet it is quite sad but at least you still have the night feeds even though your half asleep but its still something

Lol, Im sure he will of stopped feeding by then!
 I love my gorgeous little girl

:rotfl: groans are ok as long as its not crying out painfulness, do you make up feeds in mls? I was using floz as I didn't think it made a diff until I watched a program about those posh nannies that royalty use (random :p) and they pointed out that using floz means over the day means they are having it too concentrated IYSWIM

I hate that Louise ad!! I saw her documentary and she didn't use the wii fit once to loose her baby weight she had a personal trainer and was boxing like a loon 6weeks after baby - no sign of easing back into it!!

I did find feeding lying down easier when I had Tom, even more so when I put my arm under his head (the midwife at hospital kept saying to put his head flat on the bed). He still wasn't an easy feeder though - even after managing no bother at all with DD and DS I really struggled with Tom - he was hard work (ironic that he so LOVES breastfeeding now!!). I think it didn't help that I ended up having an emergency section, he was fairly small and I was quite seriously ill afterwards though - he didn't have the best of starts, bless him!
