thanks emlou just feel like im not getting anywhere and end up in tears half the time as no matter what i do she screams. have one foot on the bouncy seat as i type to keep her asleep lol!
i'm waiting to get reported by my neighbours, i leave him at least twice a daynot out of lazyness, but to have a shower and do his bottles, i'm hoping he gets used to it in time and gets a bit less clingy!

Oh bless. I went right away but she got a bit caught short and did a little wee stood by her door. I've whipped her onto the loo and gone to dab at the carpet with her shouting, "Don't stand in it Mummy. It's wet! Don't get your feet wet!"
Rhys had a bit of a sore bum yesterday so I let him run around without his nappy on for a bit. A few times he just wee'd where he was (we were outside thankfully) but once he disappeared into the house, went into the downstairs toilet and came out with his potty which he promptly sat on and produced a nice big wee. :T He was so pleased with himself.
We've not been actively potty training as he is only 20 months old, but we do regularly put him on the potty and usually get a result, but this was the first time he went and got it himself.
With the advent of the nice weather hopefully this means he will be potty trained within the next few months and we can finally get rid of the disposals!!0 -

Ultimately if you think about it then judging on the information out there then any baby with a mother who...wear pink dresses with polkadots should statistically never see their 1st birthday
:eek::eek::eek:
Some women should NOT be allowed to breed

Psssst. May I pop my head in the door for a sec? There seems to be serious discussion going on.
I just wanted to say wish me luck, I'm off to get my gallbladder removed tomorrow - in a private hospital- I've read about people being sent to private hospitals to cut NHS waiting lists, but never thought it would happen to me! Barely three months from diagnosis to op. Excellent.
After my swift recovery  I'll be plonking myself firmly on the TCC list :T. Whoohoo
(scared scared scared)
Cheerio,
Agutka
Whoo-hooo! :j
Hope all goes well!

Blimey, nothing like a good BF/FF debate to get those fingers typing!
Let's face it, nobody will ever be 100% objective when it comes to this subject. There are as many opinions as there are mums, and it's only natural for everyone to explain their opinion, but it's not always very constructive when people get defensive.
As mums, we all feel guilty about stuff - feeding, spending time with kids, working, housework, trying to combine being a perfect mum with being a perfect wife etc (I'm failing spectacularly on both fronts BTW!:rotfl:). I could imagine the guilt is never-ending, so I would never intentionally want to make anyone else feel guilty (unless they're a chain-smoking, vodka-swigging, bone-idle Waynetta Slob LOL
).
However, for what it's worth, I'm in Krystal's camp on this subject. All she's trying to do is to provide information that formula is not as wonderful as the companies who make it would want you to believe. :cool:0 -

oooh i hate bf/ff debates. everyone knows bf is best if its possible, if its not possible or causing problems for whatever reason then thats what formula is for. i don't think scaring people with out there articles does anyone any good.
anyway GOOD LUCK Agutka!!
i've left baby sleeping in car (i am very bad slummy mummy lol )better go get him or he'll not sleep tonight!DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

oooh i hate bf/ff debates
believe it or not, me too and its not really a debate, theres no need to be on anyones side or in any particular camp... im all for breastfeeding as the first choice, ive encouraged many people to try BFing before they decide on a life of FF
what i dont like is the breast is best brigade scaring the life out of people when they decide to swop to formula,
come on...who here hasnt come across an over opinionated HV in their time?:D
you BF or you FF, whatever you decide is right, no matter how strongly others feel about it.
aaaanyway GOOD LUCK AGUTKA! my OH has had suspected gall bladder trouble and he was in so much pain, so good for you getting it sorted... and then back TTC! wooooooo
we have been down the beach for the last 2 hours, poor DS fell over and has a sand imprint on his forehead! *must not laugh*0
