Doc only told me to use calamine lotion - only been putting it on at night as it looks silly when out and about! Much sillier than a red scaley flakey rash

Ask at the chemists for calamine in aqueous cream. It will rub in like a moisturiser so you won't look silly, and the aqueous cream will keep your skin nice and moisturised.
Here I go again on my own....

Is it possible to change usernames - rather than set up a new one??
You'd have to email [Removed by Forum Team] and ask if you can change it. They don't like to do it too regularly for people, so is your family now complete? ;)

fritha i dont know how u manage all that time are they treating u both at once???? cant believe celia is 24 weeks already!!

Tbh, once we started treatment the pain eased off and just became annoying rather than toe curling and now I know the symptoms as soon as they start again I restart treatment!

We're both being treated but I think I'm not continuing treatment for long enough after the symptoms (I lose track!) so I don't get rid of it properly! I did find tea tree cream (washed off before feeds!) along with nystatin cream to be most effective :-)

eta: As far as I know once you start treatment you should get relief from the pain within 48 hours, try to keep your nipples dry and air them as much as you can (that helps with the hot feeling as well!)

i feel awful now - all you mummies wracked with guilt over lumps and bumps and bruises and I swear Oz gets them so often (like at least 3 times a week) that i'm used to it now - I only worry what other people think! He's such a little explorer its bound to happen, he's really trying to walk now and he's not 10 months yet so when he's standing its a longer fall for him!

we visited his cousin on wednesday and yesterday chicken pox appeared, so I'm sure Oz will get it now. Any advice to pre warn me? Has anyone's LO had it this young - ie before 12 months?

just had a thought - i'm still breastfeeding Oz - i wonder does that give him any immunity to chickenpox as i've already had it.
    DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY ;)

Hope you do better than me. I have a four and a half year gap between No1 and No2 and a nine year gap between No2 and No3 - it took me 7 years to persuade OH!

your all crazy ill ive you one of mines lol! saying that we only have 13 months between megan and lewis (8,7) then abi (3) and 13 months between charlie and erin (13months and 3weeks) it is hard work but they are all really close, charlie is given a wide bearth as he is so big and rough lol!

feeling lots better today things must be clearing up and erins mouth looks a lot better too!

weezl i had awful SPD and there were days that i couldnt drive or even put the brake on the pram, the reflexology eased the pain and for around 2-4 days the pain was eased and i could actually do things. it even set my labour off with charlie and erin! i am looking into shadowing at the hosp while i am training and hopefully they will let me do some voluntry work before i start to do things!

Hi Caz - Violet is 5 weeks today, and I still am, although its very light now.
I think it can be up to six weeks.
