On the waiting list, so this year definitely - this is a specific as the surgeon got, but hey, I'm in no hurry. Besides I have relaxed my 'no saturated fat' diet completely and even had chocolate for the first time since xmas yestrday - gave me a headache (I [STRIKE]am[/STRIKE] was a serious chocoholic!)

I cannot believe you have two kids already!!
    :wall:
  • Such willpower! Actually, crisps are my downfall :o. Still have my Valentines Day Thorntons unopened.

Hope you move up the list soon..

Still can't believe I'm a Mum of two either :rotfl:. What a difference two years can make! :D.

    xx

Hurrah! SIL had good scan, they heard the heartbeat straight away and all the signs are good. Just have to get through the next 4 weeks until the major danger passes.

Thanks to those who sent good wishes xx

    Ds has chickenpox...

the fluid filled spots were found this morning, so he isn't at nursery. DH is coming home this afternoon so I can go to work, he can't really take tomorrow and Friday off due to pressures of work (deadlines). I've phoned work and said I'll be whenever this afternoon, and that I probably won't be in the rest of the week...

operation bedtime didn't go to badly actually - got her ready for bed about 6is, then waited till she was hungry and she fell asleep on me, so put her down just before 7. she slept till I woke her up at 10. unfortunately she then woke up about every 2 hours for the rest of the night, but I think that was because she was very windy, rather than going to bed earlier. Will keep it up for the next few days and see how we get on!

Lu - Great news! we'll keep up the good thoughts :)

JS - :( I'm avoiding all groups at the moment, I've got a bit paranoid about it being pox season I couldn't cope with the worry in case I was one of those anomalies that caught it twice!! Hope its not too bad for you, best get your asda/tesco delivery slot booked online so you don't have to worry about organising who's staying at home (I'm assuming your OH is as useless as mine at these things)xx

That's great news Lu T. Hope they can get through the next few weeks without too much worry.

Took Joshua for new football boots this evening and had to buy adult boots in a size 6. It's a bit freaky that my little boy now has bigger feet than me :D

Had a very busy day doing some stripping!

Before anyone gets the wrong idea, we've decided to decorate the sitting room and dining room while we are sofa-less. I last decorated in there shortly after I moved here in 1996, and just put cheapo paper up as a temporary measure as the inherited wallpaper was hideous. The "temporary" paper is still here and it looks really shabby now, and I've still got the hideous curtains they left behind which are almost threadbare :o
Here I go again on my own....
