James loves the Mamma Mia film and was thrilled to get the CD soundtrack for his birthday. He's played it to death and him and Charlotte have spent hours dancing to it.
She now runs into his room, points at his CD player and shouts "Abba" when she wants to dance :rotfl:
Ahh the power of Abba! Chris LOVES Mama Mia and always puts in on at MIL's
I can't stand iti love Abba but not Pierce Brosnan singing Abba
Earlier Chris was attempting to "Dance Ice" on the carpet - bless. I think he's gonna take after me in the am dram stakes0 -

:hello: Bailey! I felt a bit like you a few months back. The rage was horrible. But then the GP put me on drugs and if she ever tries to get them off me... grrr. But you know it's just a phase, it will be different, it will be better. And of course we're all here when want to have a little complain. :grouphug:
We had our friends over tonight. She is 24 weeks pregnant and has the most gorgeous bump. I was so jealous, cause I remember how fab it felt to be pregnant, but then the heartburn got to her and I also remembered how awful it was .:wall:0 -

Morning all... Anyone got a preference on which type of reins to get ie wrist or harness? Lo is now becoming a bit of a sprinter when it comes to walking and was thinking about getting some?
OMG OH has given Henry one of his Haribo Tangtastic sweets and he is eating no problem... they are far too sharp for me...Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -

Henry is younger than Chris isn't he? I think he is so I would go for harness with reins rather than a wrist strap so you can stop him falling over, I'm assuming he goes like a bull in a china shop like Chris does so falls over anything and everything including his own feet! :rotfl:
oh and we had an indian on friday and chris was tucking into the salad(the same boy that refuses to eat anything green that I feed him!) then he came over to me and handed me something he'd spat out and said "yukky" shortly followed by another thing which I noticed was yellow and white - it was the lemon wedge they give you for the salad! I missed his face
but I hadn't heard any commotion so he must of liked the taste just not the pith - bonkers!

Talk to us Bailey..... you might feel a bit better after.
Keely, glad you are being referred. I know it was getting you down. We only had to wait a week for the first appt so hopefully you wont have to wait too long either. We've got another appt on 17th and if no better they'll prescripe ranitadine. Bailey had it with her little ones.
My LO is having jabs todayDid you guys give calpol after jabs or did you wait and see if your babies developed fever and then give calpol. Its just that I googled calpols ingredients and was shocked at the amount of sweetners/preservatives in it. I know I'm a worrier but I'm quite nervous, not about the injection itself but about how he'll react afterwards. He cries enough as it is, dont know if I could cope with him feeling poorly as well as his reflux. Keely, I seem to remember Elliot was poorly after his jabs. How common is it for them to have a fever afterwards?

Good luck with the jabs, lwcus, hope everything goes okay.
I've been lucky with my two and they've always been fine with jabs so I didn't bother with Calpol before or after.
I know what you mean about the sweeteners and stuff, I don't like the sound of them either, but on the other hand of they need it, they need it - it's your decision to make. I know some HVs recommend giving calpol beforehand but personally I've always waited to see if anything develops (and it never did!), but then again if your LO suffers from reflux and you think it would help then maybe go for it?
So yeah, I don't think there's a right answer to this - just do whatever you feel is right for your LO.
Parenting, eh? It's never straightforward. :rolleyes:0 -
Thanks Dormouse, I'll buy calpol and then wait and see. Hopefully, he wont get any reactions!! xx0
