Talk to us Bailey..... you might feel a bit better after.
Keely, glad you are being referred. I know it was getting you down. We only had to wait a week for the first appt so hopefully you wont have to wait too long either. We've got another appt on 17th and if no better they'll prescripe ranitadine. Bailey had it with her little ones.
My LO is having jabs todayDid you guys give calpol after jabs or did you wait and see if your babies developed fever and then give calpol. Its just that I googled calpols ingredients and was shocked at the amount of sweetners/preservatives in it. I know I'm a worrier but I'm quite nervous, not about the injection itself but about how he'll react afterwards. He cries enough as it is, dont know if I could cope with him feeling poorly as well as his reflux. Keely, I seem to remember Elliot was poorly after his jabs. How common is it for them to have a fever afterwards?
He was a nightmare after his first lot, i took the nurses advice and gave him calpol BEFORE the next two lots and he was fine
hes just had some pureed fruit-went down well lol. just wish the milk would stay down too.Mommy to Elliot (5) and Lewis (born xmas eve 11!)0 -

Why is it that my three month old sleeps from 11pm to 8am when she stays at MILs but wont do it when shes at home
Im knackered from being up every night. When she was two months she was sleeping from 11pm to 6am at home but then all of a sudden shes back to 4 hour sleeps and she was up at 1am and 5am last night for an hour each time and then awake again at 7!
She sleeps in her moses basket at her grans so I tried her in that last night to see if it made a difference and it didnt. Its not fair!:(:(

Emms I know how you feel (tired wise anyway) Oz has NEVER slept through the night, he was up every 2 hours til he was 6 months and now at 8 months he's still up twice a night and gets up between 6-7am. I don't think hes ever going to sleep through, but it always helps when you know its not just you up all night!
Is your MIL's house warmer than yours? is the routine any different? is she staying at your MIL's house by herself or are you there too? where does she sleep in MIL's house?DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

thanks! i love taking photos and yesterday i got some corkers. people pay hundreds for professional photos but i think sometimes if you just click click click yourself you can get great results.
speaking of which i was just out in the kitchen making a lasagne and heard Oz moaning and groaning to himself thought i better check it out and when i got to the living room he was wedged under the sofa :rotfl: :rotfl: our sofa's a modern one with legs so its off the ground and he was wedged in by his nappy, I took a photo with my mobile but can't figure out how to put that on the computer.
this crawling caper is going to be hard work and he's only just starting. he's already spied the speaker under the tv which comes out of the wall - its a new house so we got it all wired for surround sound so there are no wires just this nice shiny black speaker which is a baby magnet. i did warn OH but would he listen? :rolleyes:DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

She sleeps in her moses basket in their bedroom. Im not there when she stayd over. I go to uni on Thursdays so they keep her overnight and I sometimes get her the next day and every time she sleeps right through. They feed her exactly the same periods that we do and wrap her up tight in a blanket the same as us. Maybe it is warmer there. They have the heat on quite a lot. We had thought about giving her a bigger bottle tonight to see if that helps but dont really want to do that if shes not ready for it, as she doesnt need it at MILs so we know she can sleep without it.
Hubby is meant to do the weekend night feeds so I can get some rest but hes so rubbish at it. I need to wake him to get her and he takes so long to get ready that Islas crying at the top of her lungs before hes ready so by that stage im wide awake anyway! He so wouldnt be any good in an emergency if you had to wake him for it lol

Just a thought Emma - does she full-on scream to get up in the night or just babble? My girl wakes up about every hour, sometimes she just sighs and other times she babbles away. I used to get up and attend to her then figured it was just her sleep cycle. She sometimes chats for a few minutes but has learned that she doesn't get attention so just goes back off.For everything else, there's MSE :T0

FWIW, I used reins until they weren't falling over, and then moved onto a wrist strap when they were 'sensible'. Actually I didn't have to use the wrist strap for long, but I would threaten it if they didn't stay close, stop at roads etc!
You can 'save' a child from falling with reins, but not with a wrist strap.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
John Lewis emailed me this afternoon advertising that they are now doing Phil and Ted's. Glad they were so slow on the uptake as it is £140 more than on kiddicare where I bought it last week :rotfl:For everything else, there's MSE :T0
