    Morhulin is actually magic cream.

It's the only one I've ever found that works almost instantly and Izzy has had some HORRIFIC nappy rash, bleeding, oozing, you name it - I'd tried every cream available... until CG recommended Morhulin and I got my chemist to order it in - since then we've had it under total control.

CG I'm forever in your debt :D

hello ladies, not been on here for ages.
hope everyone is well, congrats septemberbaby!
Everyone is really well here. kennedy had her 24 month checkup on monday (she's 26 months) and passed with flying colours, she even did a test they give to 3 year olds and passed that! so proud :)
alex is 12 weeks today! not sure where the time has gone. he's such a happy baby, but a bit of a mummys boy and hates it when he can't see me. bf is going well, even if i feel like a cow!

LU T have you thought about using a sling? we are doing that coz we couldn't afford to buy a double pram. kennedy is quite happy to walk, but we still need the pram if we're out all day coz she gets tired later on, so alex goes in the sling, they do take some getting used to but he sleeps really well in it.

RE nappy rash i love metanium, its a wonder cream, but it is very messy and bright yellow!
we've not had to use it on alex as we're using cloth nappies on him, the only time he gets a red bum is when he has a disposible on, but kennedy still gets a red bum now and then and it always clears it up.
we are getting ready to potty train her soon, so not looking forward to it, we're off to centre parcs in feb for my DH 30th so will wait till we get back.

Hope everyone is well and getting over their sickness

Gem- my LO was also 6 weeks early. How often was Alex weighed? Mine is 11 weeks old and not been weighed for the last 5 weeks. I've left messages on HV answer phone but she hasn't got back to me. I'm not too concerned as I can see that he is putting on some weight. Just wondering how often they should be checked on?

You can weigh your baby as often as you want. Isn't there a surestart centre or something that has weekly weigh ins ? failing that call the reception at your GP and ask them where the local weigh ins are.

Now Samantha is over a year I'll only be getting her weighed every 6 months, but I did do it monthly for the first year.

we can go the baby clinic once a week for weigh in if we like (its based at our gp surgery, one hour a week-no sick people allowed in then.)

its true, it really is magic cream!
there is no point trying anything else! just get this stuff and see an improvement almost straight away,
Danny had the worst nappy rash i had ever seen, it was practically a chemical burn and Morhulin was the only thing that sorted it out,
and now if he gets so much as a spot i dab some on and its gone by the next change!

I love that i am infamous on this thread!
everytime someone has nasty nappy rash "wheres CG!!" lol

lol I got told off for going too often as I used to go once every couple of weeks initially.....

Then they shut my local (within walking distance) clinic and as I am managing without a car for the moment he hasn't been weighed much since.

Well LO is just over a 14mths now and started walking "for real" (ie letting go of the furniture) at christmas and as much as I don't want to wish his life away and miss my little baby (feeling rather broody actually and can't get Oh to change his mind so no more babies for me I fear) life is so much easier now - i have alot less carrying to do for one :T .

He is also learning loads of new words and actually repeating them every now and again....but for the main part is happy to go "gurgle, gurgle gurgle..." over and over again.

QUICK QUESTION FOR ANY OF YOU THAT USE NURSERIES AND OR CHILDMINDERS

As LO is still not sleeping during the day, I'm thinking about either using a childminder or nursery a couple of hours a week just to get a bit of time to do the chores that I can't do with him around or after bedtime. Do you think that, that is possible at a nursery/childminders or will they likely want to do a whole 4hr session (which I can't afford and don't really want LO at nursery environment that long yet)?

    MANY THANKS ALL!!

oz hasnt been weighed since 16 weeks, i worried about it when he was all new but once i knew he was feeding well i didnt worry. i weighed him on our bathroom scales which said he was 16.5 lbs but i dont trust them to be very accurate with such a little weight - he certainly feels heavier!

he said Mamma today! he's been saying mmmmmmmmmummmummm type things for ages but today he said clear as a bell Mamma quite a few times and it was so strange to hear a proper word come out of his little mouth! He also said "addy" the other day to OH but that may have been a fluke! he also seems to be sprouting teeth left right and centre - literally! 7 altogether now and more on the way. and he's starting to crawl! so much happening all at once.
    DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY ;)
