We're making bunting too! I'm making white bunting for outside, already bought a white sheet from the Ikea bargain corner. One of my sisters is into textile design and is going to make up some fabric for the bunting indoors. We're also making our own stationery and I'm knitting myself a shawl and a shrug for my littlest bridesmaid. Am sure there will be more homemade stuff though.

Well I am now officially engaged

It was my dad's 50th today and we went for a meal then back to my house to do the cake etc, my bloke went down on one knee just as everyone was about to leave.

It was lovely, if a bit mental cos the three kids were all hyper from cake and very noisy! my mum cried!

So now I really do belong on this thread and still plan to marry May 2010, but need to confirm with church etc before we choose the definite date.

I am so chuffed, yay!
