Good luck poppycracker!

Well it's 7 weeks on Saturday until our big day and it's getting a wee bit overwhelming (not helped by me having a job interview for something I really wanted last week and being very impatient to hear about it!). Things left to do:

- Write the ceremony, we've got an idea of what we're going to have, just need to bring it all together
- Chase up bakery about the cake
- Make the bunting for outside, my sister has made some gorgeous stuff for the inside.
- Find some friends/family not at risk of breaking down crying if they do a reading
- Finish gift list
- Go and confirm flowers
- Write up briefing for photographer
- Sort out wine
- Finish knitting my shawl - on the edging now, I hope to have it done in a month.

Recently achieved things include my dad getting some of his students to play the clarsach, dressmaker starting alterations, OH getting his outfit sorted and for the aw-factor, my little bridesmaid trying her dress on and it fitting: http://www.flickr.com/photos/chatiryworld/3397807899/in/set-72157604025434061/ (she's into saying 'no' at the moment so hard to get a really good photo!)

well i'm not getting married until may 2011 but i am buying along the way to save me wasting money on stuff i don't need lol.
I have sorted venue, place cards, invites, shoes & cake stand so far and i know what dress i want but obviously i can't get that yet in case i balloon up haha not that i intend to..

Its all good fun!

I found out this week i'm getting my wedding photgraphy done for free :O
Been looking for a while now with my mum and dad who offered to pay for pics.
However, my dad was made redundant a couple of weeks ago, so i said that it didnt matter about a photographer, i didnt want them to pay for that when i know things will be hard but when one of my grandma's friends heard what was happening, he came foward and offered to do it for nothing.
He normally charges £795 for pics only :O
So im a very happy lady, i was nearly crying

Sorry to hear about your dad though.

There's a couple of dresses i realllllly like they're alfred angelo dresses but if needs must i may have to result to a dress maker because of funds.
