Tell me what you think of it.The dress is shown in white but will be in a gorgeous deep plum silk and I will have a bolero to match.

I dont use nuts in my carrot cake..... tastes just as nice.

Its just not the same for me lol, i'm quite picky but it was just a mad cap idea anyway. I'm more excited about the lemon cupcakes now.. yum yum!

I know what you mean JayJay....

If I hadn't already arranged with my brother to make a gluten free fruit cake, I would have had cupcakes.... and I wish I'd thought about the lemon and strawberry first, because I'm having a red and yellow wedding and that would have looked good! Might actually get some made anyway, just to put on the buffet. Do you mind if I copy your idea? :D

Women marry men hoping they will change, men marry women hoping they won't! Inevitably they will both be disappointed.

Wow there's a lot of you on the 5th September! If it helps Hels I am getting married a month before you but sending out the invites in May after a meeting with the caterers. I do know that a lot of people getting married in August have sent theirs out recently.

My dad's uncle is a printer so he's doing the invitations for us as a wedding present. They're being printed as we speak and we'll be sending them out as soon as possible. This is mainly because we are having our wedding in a different area from where we and our families live. Everyone will need accommodation and there's a conference on the same weekend. We want to give people plenty of time to get organised!
  • Went to a wedding fair at the weekend and OH loved it! I think we've found our venue!

Can I joint his thread? Not booked the date yet, we meet with the Vicar in a week so are hoping our date of 24th April 2010 is available if not we're hoping for either 1st or 8th May. So can give you exact date next Thursday!

Have already started sorting bits out although not 'purchased' anything yet as i'm waiting to know the exact date.

I love reading about everyone elses wedding, it makes me even more excited for my own!
  • I am getting more excited now than I was before, and my date's a year after yours! I've also started buying things (I know I shouldn't, but it makes me feel like i'm spending less)
