I have decided I dont like the wedding invitations and other blanks I have bought so am going to make them myself instead.A bit last minute but hopefully I can find something I can copy online.Fancy trying to make them using the dress fabric somehow.

We are doing cupcakes. Jayjay where did you get your stand from. I thought about making mine but ca't find the cake dummies to seperate the tiers cheap enough yet. I'm making my cupcakes with my bridesmaid the day before. Have found a gorgeous recipe from Annabel Karmel of all people lol!! What are you using for your icing?

OMG! Wedding has come round sooooooooo fast! I can't believe I am going to be married in 16 days time.

Actually feel very emotional now whenever anyone mentions it.

Am so so so excited!

Hello All!!

I am newly engaged as of Friday last week!It has been a long hard struggle and wait for the proposal but I am so happy now! I've waited nearly 7 years LOL. Any way we brought my engagement ring on Monday and it finally feels real now. We are telling my mum tomorrow and the rest of the family on Satruday. We haven't set a date yet but we are hoping to get in this year in July/August or possibly early September. Bet we won't be lucky enough though! Soooo exciting! Good luck to all!!!

Well it's all over for me now lol. All that planning and then the day just flies over and you want to do it all over again!!!
I could not have dreamed of a more perfect wedding day, everything was far better than I could have hoped!! I may even try to get a pic up once the jet lag eases lol

Hi can I join?? We're getting married on 16th October 2009 :eek: and although only 6 months to go, I feel uber organised! Have booked all the "important" things (venue, flowers, photos etc) and collected my dress on Thursday (have had to hide it in Dad's garage ) and now I feel like I've run out of stuff to do so concentrating on ms to get the honeymoon suite upgrade at the hotel xxx
