Hey chardonnay - It's the El Dorado Casitas Royale. I've never been to Mexico (never been out of Europe!) so it's great to hear you say that!:T

I'm going to Mexico for my honeymoon too! So excited. We are spending 5 nights in Las Vegas then 10 nights in Mexico!
Seems very extravagant but neither of us have been any further than Spain and we've have saved money on other aspects of the wedding so we felt a little more like we could splurge! It is a once in a lifetime holiday!!Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j

for those going to mexico, if you can afford it and are near enough to them try and go to chitzen itza - to see the pyramids, and xcaret park is beautiful with loads to do (swim in a underground river through caves - very romantic, swim with dolphins, reinactments of traditonal myan ball game etc), the jungle tour (you go on your own speedboat which sits 2 and then snorkel in the coral reef - we did it holding hands:p ) married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090

Hi everyone,
Can I join too?
Not sure yet when the big day will be as my fiance proposed 3 days ago whilst we were on holiday. Still a bit in shock at the moment (chuffed to bits though!) but I'm sure I'll be in full on wedding planning mode soon
We do know that we don't want a massive wedding, my sister did that a couple of years ago and it was a nightmare with all the arguments about guest lists! Also, we are saving for a deposit on a house so the more we spend on the wedding the less we will have for our house!!! Having said that we still want our day to be lovely so I'll be looking on this forum for lots of MSE ideas. I'm lucky in that I'm very crafty so will make all my invites, table decs etc and my auntie will probably do my flowers and cake. I also have a very good friend who has offered to make my wedding dress for me so hopefully all this will help us to keep the costs down!
Good luck to everyone else
