Iave got my dress and tiara and 1 of my 4 bridesmaids dress all there tiaras, disco and bouncy castle for the kids, my mum has made all my invites i ave booked the venues and got half my table decs but still sooooooooooo much 2 do!!!

I have to post a link to my venue,just so excited I cant keep it to myself.I did briefly consider having the wedding at home to save money but this place is just so special we had to go for it.
Its all paid for so at least one thing is organised properly.

wedding insurance- sorted via m&s
wedding cake-m&s roses 3 tier
rings-argos white gold or even silver plain bands
grooms outfit from dark angel-black with purple bespoke waiscoat decided on but not bought yet
bridesmaids outfits-decided on either lilac or white prom length dresses,still to buy
my outfit-definately purple but keep changing mind about dress style!!!Worried I will look like I belong in a theme park if I go for anything too scottish or too celtic/medieval etc.The castle has a very narrow spiral staircase so I cannot go for a big dress a la dita von teese.
ceremony in castles private chapel-by humanist celebrant-still to meet in person and decide on ceremony content
food-menu planned but have 2 meet 2 chefs next month to choose one
music for ceremony and champagne reception-quartet booked and £50 deposit paid,so expensive though so may change this to a 2 piece.
music for evening-may play cd,s(hubby2b wants all rock music) or may get accordion players for a knees up.
activities for day after-in touch with people re falconry and and archery.
save the date cards ready to send-made myself
invites etc will make but still to decide exactly what style
photography-have local photographer booked to take snaps for us plus we will all have cameras for the evening do.
have I forgotten anything?

crickey forgot about flowers!I will keep it simple,not spending a fortune on wedding flowers from a florist,just going for bunches from m&s brochure ranges or some nice ones red and purple or white and purples at crocus

All being well bridesmaid (DD13) should be kitted out using the remainder of my £200 budget because she already has shoes.:D

AARgh!!!Yesteday mil phoned me to check wedding dates as she and fil have to book their days off for the wedding.Hubby is doing the same this week.It suddenly all seems very close and I feel very unprepared.Wedding is 5th November and I still want to lose weight before I am even measured for a dress,will I be ready in time?I have cut down to about half intake so should be the right size in 4 or 5 months,is 5 or 6 months enough time to order a dress?

My bridesmaids gifts arrived this morning, I'm trying to get as much as I can in the sales. I got them a jewellery roll each (will get something different for the little one):

They look even better in real life and I think she's undercharging even before having them in the sale.

We're still working on the invites but plan to do a lot this weekend. Other big job to get on with now, and most important one, is writing the ceremony. Also need to revisit venues to measure up for decorations and think about how the day will work.
