Just found this thread! My (or should that be our) big day is 5th March 2010. Booked the venue and bought the dress (you'd have been proud - it was the last one in a closing down sale in a boutique, went from 800 to 100 pounds and it fits perfectly!). I'll be making my own invitations, bouquet and flower arrangements (not real flowers as I have hay fever), and my own table decorations. I should just about have enoguh time to do it.

Send Save the dates to all day guests

Have to say - I am doing this all on my own too. I asked my Mum to give me away and she said no so I am walking down the aisle alone too. So, if anyone is sad about doing it alone -think of all the arguments you wont have because you want something and your MIL/Mum wants something different!!!! hehe

Thanks for letting me join! My fiancee proposed on 1st September and we're getting married next July. Neither of us can believe how much there is to think about and how quickly time ticks by. So far, I've booked the church and the venue and got my dress and the invitations and just keep writing and re-writing lists for everything else! One thing I do want to get sorted soon is the chair covers. Can anyone recommend a chair cover company near Guildford? Oh, I've also lost 1 stone and 3 pounds by switching from driving to work to walking to work! :j
